| Halloween Posted: 10/4/2009 7:07:44 PM | It's that time of year again; where people dress up in costumes and have a rip roarin' good time.
So tell me, what are your plans for this Halloween?
I'm torn between dressing up as the Paperbag Princess OR a vampire/pirate wench. I found the most darling costume for it too and have to reorder some Vampfangs (I've lost mine. I can't believe it but I did )
Although as yet, I have no place to be on the big night.
What are your plans? Staying in, watching some scary movies and handing out candy, or partying it up?

| Halloween Posted: 10/4/2009 7:13:41 PM | Actually this might be the first halloween I get to stay home and hand out candy. Don't expect too many trick or treaters in my area, but will decorate anyway for fun.
Most likely, I will probably dress up as a Witch. Now if we could have an Adult Halloween, and hand out little bottles of liqueur, I would dress as a very, Sexy Witch

| Halloween Posted: 10/4/2009 7:19:48 PM | Haven't decided what to be yet although it always involves fangs and always in gothic style
I'll be taking the kids trick or treating then I'm going out. I've already arranged babysitting since it's my first night out on an actual halloween night in YEARS and the last weekend before fulltime school starts for me. just one problem
no clue where I'm going to par-ty

| Halloween Posted: 10/4/2009 7:25:17 PM | Hmmm --- I may just hide --- be a real ghost, invisible. I can take or leave Halloween. This is a leave it year but I do not think I will get away with it.
Maybe, I will dress up as Xavery.

| Halloween Posted: 10/4/2009 8:11:56 PM | I love halloween .... and being on a saturday this year I think it is going to be a bit crazy. Friend of mine has a halloween thing going on in gastown friday night and then another group has a thing saturday night.
Now I just have to find a costume for this year ..... do any of you recycle your costumes year after year or get new ones each year?

| Halloween Posted: 10/4/2009 8:33:02 PM | At the Orpheum they are showing Nosferatu on screen with the VSO playing. And it says come in costume if you like. Sounds like fun. I don't want to go myself, but if anyone else is interested maybe there are still tix available. 25 and 30 bucks for an adult. http://www.vancouversymphony.ca/concertpage.php?concertcode=09SPEC02 | |

| Halloween Posted: 10/4/2009 8:47:11 PM | Probably staying home & handing out candy. This is my first Halloween at the new place so I'm not sure how many kids typically show up here. Unless another offer comes along of course but nah, don't feel like dressing up this year, but I've been known to change my mind. Now, what kind of handy should I hand out this year ... hmm ... ??? Definitely something I like so I can pig out on leftovers. | |

| Halloween Posted: 10/4/2009 9:26:56 PM | anyone else ready to barf right about now?
| |
|
| Halloween Posted: 10/4/2009 9:37:14 PM | I haven't had a costume or done anything in years. It's basically just another day for me, except I guess there are more scary movies on the television.
Maybe next year. | |

Too funny! I thought they were in the car but.. I can't find them now :( I know I had them in December when I went to Ontario to visit my grandparents (no idea why they were in the car) but now they're gone :( I'm so sad.
Going to Seattle probably this weekend for this: http://www.torrid.com/torrid/store/product.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302040723&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524442202536&bmUID=1254730836438
Paired with these boots:

(which I can wear whenever, so not a total waste)
And some new fangs which I think I can buy at Hot Topic rather than ordering them online.
Sexy, vampire pirate = win.

and have to reorder some Vampfangs (I've lost mine. I can't believe it but I did ).... I know I had them in December when I went to Ontario to visit my grandparents Grampa's wearing them... He thinks they're his new dentures..... Me, Halloween?!? Well, I am having surgery on my nose on the 26th so, I should be nicely swollen with a black and blue face with packing up my nose and a splint on it. I could just wrap the rest of myself up and go as a mummy. Scare all the little monsters as they come to the door
