| False I.D. to "Proove" We're Younger?? Posted: 10/4/2009 9:37:07 PM | Listening to a radio program the other day about the boom in false I.D. for underage kids to "proove" they're 21 so they can get served alcohol.
Got to wondering if there's an untapped market for the providers of false I.D. for us olde folks who wanna "proove" we're younger.
I'm 65 and often get told I only look 40 or 50 something but ladies I'm attracted to in their 40s won't date me because I'm "too old." Well, some ladies that age do date me and I'm most grateful.
Still tempting to get a false I.D. that show's I'm like 52 or something to show the ladies in their 40s who ask how old I am....
You'd think the false I.D. providers would be marketing up at our age too??
Yes yes yes I know its not honest...but it sure is tempting....

| False I.D. to Proove We're Younger?? Posted: 10/4/2009 9:42:26 PM | | Yeah, I hear ya. I'm only attracted to multi-millionaires but they want 22 year olds. Maybe a fake id would help my case. It's so unfair...... | |

| False I.D. to Proove We're Younger?? Posted: 10/4/2009 9:53:39 PM | Ugh. Disgusting. You are like so many of the messages I get from men who are 60+ and LYING about their age. Why don't you PROUDLY and HONESTLY declare your age and decide the right woman will show up and love you for you? I hate liars. | |

| False I.D. to Proove We're Younger?? Posted: 10/4/2009 10:17:48 PM | | I am very proud of my age, and my looks. I hope that I will always be. Personally, if I ever found out that someone, that I cared for was not truthful about their age, I would wonder how much other stuff they have lied about. | |

| False I.D. to Proove We're Younger?? Posted: 10/4/2009 10:29:24 PM | The women who date you do so because you get all the senior discounts. If you get a fake ID they will dump you as 'unusable".

| False I.D. to Proove We're Younger?? Posted: 10/4/2009 11:00:50 PM | | I watching a taping of the Tyra Banks Show of women who don’t look their age. One woman who claimed to be 49 was interviewed with the audience guessing her age to be 38. Tyra asked her what year she was born - she said 1958. Tyra then asked her if she ever lied about her age and her answer was no. Tyra left it at that. Apparently the show was taped this year…2009….lol | |

but ladies I'm attracted to in their 40s won't date me because I'm "too old."
That is such a shame... I don't discount men because of their age, but I dated one man who was only 52 and I was genuinely worried that I'd kill him! If you have stamina... As for lying? However tongue in cheek it's done, I rather know the truth thanks, but hey, you go for it!

| False I.D. to Proove We're Younger?? Posted: 10/4/2009 11:14:58 PM | um, aren't most of the fake IDs for kids so they can, er, get into bars etc.? like rebel against authority in a general kind of way?
rather than trying to fool people they want to be "close" to?
just saying. | |

I'm 65 and often get told I only look 40 or 50 something but ladies I'm attracted to in their 40s won't date me because I'm "too old. Then tell them you're 90 and rich and fixing to kick the bucket.

| False I.D. to Proove We're Younger?? Posted: 10/5/2009 4:14:45 AM | I don't want to be younger. I look good for my age but if I was younger I'd look pretty bad for my age and who wnats that?
Besides, I'm trying to convince the IRS I'm 59.5 so I can start drawing on my IRA.

| False I.D. to Proove We're Younger?? Posted: 10/5/2009 5:25:39 AM | Well there is another guy on here who claims to be 46 and is in fact 67. He also claims that people tell him he looks to be in his 40s or 50s. Be very reluctant to believe such things. That guy looks every bit of 67 as you look every bit of 65. I am 62 and admit it. What is the point of starting a relationship with a lie? Eventually they will know the truth and then will not believe anything you say!!!

| False I.D. to Proove We're Younger?? Posted: 10/5/2009 5:49:08 AM | | Those peeps who tell you that you look 40 or 50 something are telling you a white lie. Your pictures reveal a man who is most definitely 60 something. I know it hurts, but the truth will set you free. | |

| False I.D. to Proove We're Younger?? Posted: 10/5/2009 5:51:05 AM | | I'm looking for a good false ID that shows I am 65. Cheap movie tickets, half price public transit, discounts on hair cuts, golden age benefit programs...the list is endless. There are always loads of women available out there when you are younger, but the Senior's discounts really add up, leaving you more cash with which to entertain the ladies..... | |

No, I don't think false ID for trying to be a younger age is an answer. IF you looked young, why would you have to show an ID anyway? Just don't mention age, that's all.
I don't think anyone should try to be something they really aren't. I guess that's why it's called false ID. So it would only prove that you are that... false. Why would anyone want to be false?

| False I.D. to Proove We're Younger?? Posted: 10/5/2009 7:18:10 AM | | It's been my experience that some people will lie when it will be of benefit to them. Much like the OP wants to lie about his age, those that tell the OP that he looks much younger than his actual age are, without a doubt, lying to benefit themselves. I prefer to surround myself with people who are able to accept life as it is presented to them as opposed to those that want to walk life's path by hiding behind lies. Lies always have a way of coming back to bite one in the patootie at the most inconvenient times. | |

| False I.D. to Proove We're Younger?? Posted: 10/5/2009 7:28:57 AM | childlike wonder:
Well I've seen plenty of profiles of me(n) who claim 50 and look 65, so why not?
So because a whole herd of old men are lying, that makes it ok?
It's funny how so many say, "I've been told I look like I'm in my 40's or 50's so why shouldn't I just go with that?"
Here's why: 1. You were probably told that when you were in your 40's or 50's 2. Your face gives away your age every time...not to mention the rest of you 3. It's pathetic to lie about your age in the hope of snagging a younger woman 4. You are in denial 5. Unless you are extremely wealthy, most women have no interest in dating an old man...what's the payoff for her?
Face your age and be proud of who you are. Lying about anything is really an insult to your authentic self. There are some truly beautiful older women who would make lovely partners. Get honest about yourself and hook up with someone closer to your own age! It would make everyone happier. (You, the older women and the younger women getting hit on by deceptive old men.)

| False I.D. to Prove We're Younger?? Posted: 10/5/2009 7:29:07 AM | | OP Lying about your age would definitely be a bad plan, especially if you want a LTR with the person. Even if you don't at first you may decide that she's the one for you and want a relationship. Eventually the truth will come out, unless you plan to lock her in your basement and never introduce her to friends, family and/or co-workers. Even if that is the only "fib" you ever tell her, you will have zero credibility. She will second guess everything you ever say and do, and you will get tried of being doubted. | |
