Posted: 10/9/2009 3:46:58 PM | Of course I can't speak for anyone besides myself...I was looking for someone that just fits. I don't know. I'm beginning to think that any of us who are single at this age are that way for a reason and we should leave well enough alone  j/k, I want someone who accepts me for me. I happen to be an amazing woman but no one here will ever know that. Why? you ask. Because I'm not physically attractive enough. But it's their loss because as I said before I AM AN AMAZING WOMAN. So the first things I look for are is he responsible, does he have a job, (doesn't matter what kind of job Mickey D's even just have a job), how long has he been at his job, how long has he lived where he lives, does he pay his own bills or does his mother do it for him etc. Responsibilityyyyyyy please. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for someone to take care of me...Because I have a good job. But I'm certainly not looking to take care of anyone financially either. Beyond that, someone who is willing to get to know ME before deciding I'm not worthy of being on his arm. Because to be perfectly honest someone who judges others based on the book cover isn't worthy of my attention.
I mean really, lets face it some of you guys aren't all that either. We are getting older, gravity is taking it's toll and most of us ladies have had our babies which also took it's toll. And what a high toll that was.

Someone who doesnt judge me by my hair color would be great. I'm not "easy" or "ditzy" or "dumb". Am quite the opposite actually. You meet me at a party, you know it doesnt mean I'm wild and out of control, but you know I like to have fun. Also, someone who can see past the givens on the outside (given being just what I have now, or what I am, like a single mom or a student or a renter, not a stick-thin VS model) and see the real me insde. Dedicated, smart, and respectful - just like I want in a mate. Someone who can make something positive, instead of something negative, out of anything. | |
