Posted: 10/8/2009 12:37:39 PM | HEY GANG!!IT'S TIME TO GET TOGETHER FOR ANOTHER DANCE AT THE CAPE GIRARDEAU VFW.....THIS WILL BE A PRE-HALLOWEEN DANCE!!!!
TIME: DANCE WILL BEGIN AT 6:30 AND END AROUND 1:00 A.M.
LOCATION: 1049 NORTH KINGSHIWAY,CAPE GIRARDEAU,MO
DIRECTIONS: FROM I-55,TAKE THE CAPE/JACKSON EXIT. TURN EAST TOWARD CAPE GIRARDEAU AND GO APPROXIMATELY 3 MILES. THE VFW WILL BE ON THE RIGHT. IT IS A LARGE WHITE BUILDING. YOU CAN SEE THE FLAG FLYING IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING.
NO COVER CHARGE
COME ANYTIME YOU LIKE, EVEN IF IT'S LATER IN THE EVENING. YOU WILL FIND US THERE PARTYING AWAY.
WE USUALLY TRY TO SIT IN ONE SECTION SO LOOK FOR US PLEASE.
IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO BRING SOME SNACK TYPE FOODS THIS TIME TO SHARE PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DO IT, BUT IT'S UP TO YOU. THE VFW HAS POPCORN FOR FREE.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES CAN BE BROUGHT IN.....DRINKS CAN BE PURCHASED AT THE BAR AT REASONABLE PRICES.......THEY HAVE BEER,WINE,WINE COOLERS,MIXED DRINKS,AND SODA.
WE'VE HAD GOOD TURNOUTS AND LOTS OF FUN WITH OUR DANCES SO FAR, SO COME ON OUT AND JOIN THE GANG! THERE ARE PEOPLE OF ALL AGES FROM 21-99 THERE TOO SO JUST COME BY AND MEET US EVEN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DANCE. WITH THE WEATHER GETTING COLD AND NASTY, THIS IS A GOOD PLACE TO COME TO MEET OTHER SINGLES AND BE ABLE TO STAY INSIDE AND WARM.

I appreciate everyone watching over me at the last dance I had a blast even without the Long Island Teas. 
I am looking forward to it again and hope to see georgia and carolynn at this one. Donna you too but I seen you at the last one.

When you are 47 and someone is 1 yr younger than your oldest child it seems to have a little conflict. I would be killed by my kids they would try to get me into a shrink for  . If that didn't work they would have me sedated and put away.  .
I would hate that then I couldn't come to the dances anymore 
Kathy I will help you cohost and be at the door if ya let me know for sure what time.

It takes 20 signed up people before I can send out a mass email to remind everyone about the event. I need your help please! So send emails to all your interet friends ad POF buddies and tell them to sign up. There are always several that don't sign up anyway so we have a nice group each time. It's just good to send out the memo in case someone misses the forum. Come on out and lets meet,greet, dance and have some fun!!  | |

Bring some of your friends with you. We love to have new people join us. The public is invited to the dances so tell friends even if they aren't on POF to come on over and have some fun! There have been a few of the people that have made it to all the get togethers so far. If anyone wants to go out for an early breakfast afterwards maybe we can plan on that too. Well my guy from the boat is back on pof, if I was a dirty person I would tell everyone his username and worn them ahead of time before he does them like he did me.
I am still wondering if I will ever meet Mr. Right heck he can even be Mr. Left if he does'nt beat me, scream at me, curse me, and all of that bad stuff. I just wanna be loved by someone again. Not used or abused by them though. I found out the hard way it is not worth going through all of that.
I met a young bald man at the pof dance one time and he is a great person and has a great personality. However he is alot younger than I am. He will probably get on here and yell at me again about the age thing though. LOL
I still love ya though and he knows who he is I won't embarrase him.

There aren't as many guys signed up this time - how am I going to get to dance enough?? I danced 10 dances last time, had a great time.
