| Halloween Fright Night Pictures
Posted: 10/10/2009 9:52:27 PM | Thanks to all who came to last nights 'Fright Night'.
We had 11 people turn up and by all accounts everyone had a good time.
Movieworld turned it on with loads of decorations and smoke effects and their staff all looked great dressed up.
Quite a few rides were operating - Scooby Doo, Superman, Wild West, Batman Simulator and Batman Slingshot. Scooby Doo was so much fun so we decided to hit the Wild West ride next - omg did we get drenched on this one. I took off my boots and the water literally drained out lol. Some brave souls braved the long wait for Superman and said it was awesome although censorship prohibits me from saying word from word what Mainey was saying the whole ride.
There were also other specially prepared rooms including The Fun House, Bedlam Manor, Dragons Alley, Nightmare House and a couple of others.
We started in the Fun House which wouldn't have scared a 5 year old and then moved up to the Bedlam Manor. This was a tad better but still didn't make the pulse beat as fast hoped. Next up was the Dragons Alley - gotta say this definately stepped up to the mark in scare value (corpses in body bags, bloody, guts, stobe lights, darkness and snakes) - finally we had some screaming.
Freaky characters also roamed the streets (some staff some not) and the entertainers put together a mighty fine effort doing the thriller dance.

Yes the Superman ride was absolutely #$%#@ awesome,, lol ,, thanks Di for going on it with me, those lockers can be tricky but lol.
Yes I had a scream at what felt like snakes on my legs!!!! Those dead bodies hanging around were pretty full on too,, especially when they swung into you and thhey felt real as well,,,, eeeerrrrrr.
Thanks Jude for putting the event on and driving, we were so excited getting ready for it,, we were like jumping jelly beans lol. | |
