| What should a girl wear on a first date? Posted: 10/12/2009 5:33:05 PM | So I was wondering, what would be the best thing to wear on a first date to make a good impression? Even if its just going to have coffee or see a movie. What do you think is appropriate to wear, that says Wow, this girl has a sense of style and such. | |

The "Wow, this girl has a sense of style and such," may be a bit of a turn off as I'd either be shocked that she'd wear something so hoochy-ish or awed that she'd spend a bazillion bucks getting all dolled up. Though maybe you didn't quite mean that level of wow, right?

I say wear what is comfortable you and be you i think the guy probably just cares more for your company than what you are wearing.

A semi casual dress is best that is a dark colour like red, purple, blue or black without allot of decorations on it. Or a blouse with a nice pair of tight jeans or dress pants anything that is comfortble, classy and not to sexy with a pair of cute church shoes but no stockings.

The lucky guy just wants your company, what you wear isn't going to be the 'hit or miss' factor of the date. Something casual, jeans, a classy dress, whatevers comfortable.
From my experience most guys prefer girls with no / minimal make up too.

I tend to be more concerned if we hit it off or have any sort of chemistry, etc.

In truth, one thing a lot of my buddies and I seem to agree on, we hate women who wear pink.... no idea why.... it just seems to aggravate me... and apparently I'm not alone....

It's important to know about a woman how she sounds when she is walking along with her pockets full of things she picked up. It's an instinct left over from the millions of years human beings were hunter-gatherers. The man will be noticing whether you jingle, clunk or rustle.

Men are just as forgiving as women when it comes to the fashion faux pas. If he disapproves but likes you anyways, then he'll take you shopping at a later time :)

Wear what is appropriate for the activity.. Nice clothes for a dinner.. Play clothes for an outdoor activity. meaning NO heels at the park to play frisbee.. and no tennis shoes and jeans for a nice dinner.
Guys will be hyper aware of anything hinting at sex. dont over sell it, just be casual and cool

Whatever's easiest to take off in the back of a small import car. Or a skirt, you can leave that on.
....seriously, it depends on where you're going. Make it fit the occasion/event.

No; you seem like that kind of girl not to have sex ever under any circumstances.
I hear that convents need acolytes these days.

| What should a girl wear on a first date? Posted: 10/12/2009 11:17:41 PM | anything that isn't baggy, stained or has ferrets in the pockets. i think most men simply like it when a girl looks like she's gotten dressed in a way that shows she took a bit of time to puck out her clothes. It impresses a guy - he might feel he's got to live up to the trouble you took to get dressed.
Be kind to the allergic - no perfume. Minimal make-up....no putting a "face" on.
But really, it's you who is going to impress him, not the clothes.
