| South Bend / Mishwaka .. Dead to the dating world.
Posted: 10/17/2009 4:27:54 PM | Why couldn't Mishawaka or South Bend be as big as say, Lafayette ? Plenty of people from Lafayette (including the one person I'd really like to talk to) are from Lafayette ?
I mean we have two major colleges here.. and dang, you'd think we'd be a bit more... happening, but as it seems .. we're dead.
What is there to do around this town?
I'm tired of the bar scene.. you can't exactly go to barns and noble to pick up a lady because it's strange ..

Posted: 10/26/2009 8:49:18 PM | | Some truth here. NW Indiana, South Bend, and Elkhart seem to be dating dead zones. It's really very difficult to have any sort of social life in this region. We also seem to have a lot of obese people and smokers in this area. And if you're not into Harleys or sports, you're pretty much screwed finding someone with similar interests. I may be moving to Ft. Wayne next year. I truly hope I don't have as much trouble meeting people there as I have here. | |
