how much personal information we should share with friends about partners ?
Posted: 10/18/2009 3:41:09 AM
Im an introverted person, and when i bump into our friends who i know have this information it affects my social interaction with them.

I have brought this issue up with her and asked her to tone it down cos we are no longer an item, but her argument is that she is sharing something positive about me, and therefore it causes no harm.

I do not want this issue to be a bone of contention but was wondering how much personal information we should share with friends about partners ?

Some things are better left unsaid.
Especially if you want your mates to see you as a sweet and innocent being haha

From experience you can't stop people from saying what they want to say so let them get on with it..... besides most of us blokes know that these 'Girl chats' occur don't we ??

Personally I keep it zipped when I'm dating ............on all levels !!

I know how the OP feels. An ex of mine went round telling all her mates about how i am easily able to satisfy any Woman with my 'Magic' tongue. I really hate the fact that women look upon me only as someone who is able to give them immense sexual pleasure instead of respecting me for my Brain and that.

Enjoy it!

Not quite the same as an ex spreading a rumour around a Lady had a bucket fanny. Not quite the same is it?

Be thankful you are not my best friends husband. She shared some info with us in the pub last night that made my eyes water. And when he objected she told him to stop being such a twat. Women discuss EVERYTHING with their mates. No holds barred. Its how we bond. By the way I hate it when men only want to be with me for the size of my boobs. Bleedin tragic. Woe is me. Etc etc ad nauseum

I have a similar problem...all my exes crying to their friends about how wonderful and perfect I am, and how stupid they were to let me go, and not treat me like the jewel I actually am.
I hope you're all taking notes here!
