| Woman pays $10,000 to find a husband ?
Posted: 10/19/2009 5:35:43 PM | this young woman (26) was on ABC Nightline last friday. it took her almost two years to save $10,000 for this team of professional matchmakers in New York (2 women-mid 50's). the team would only introduce her to 3 men for match and give her life long coaching but not anymore dates with men. the matchmaker's took her to find sutitable clothes to go on these dates but this chick insisted on dressing provocative or "hoochie" saying she had great legs and needed to show them off.
the men all were professionals but she found something wrong with all of them from the 44 yr distinguished gentlemen as being too "old" and 25 yr guy was too "young" and there was a good looking guy about 30 she liked but he never called her back after the first date.
she later tells the reporter she has 4 dates lined up already for the following week she met on her own. i think something is wrong with a person who has too do all this stuff to find a husband or a date. this young woman just wasted or threw a lot of money down the drain.

To pay for advice and then refuse to follow it seems unnecessarily rebellious. She probably got her money's worth in the form of daily fantasies, paying for a husband hunt, being able to imagine a better class of husband would result. If she had spent her time here instead, for free, it would have been a lot harder for her to expect that her Mr. Right could be got waiting by this watering hole. If you can decided in 5 seconds after meeting a man that you're not interested, why can't she? If you paid money to be on this site would you just accept whomever they said was a good match for you? The only real difference between what is done on this site and what that woman did was the amount of money spent, how much money do you have to spend before you just accept whoever you are told you are a good match with? Have any of you ever even checked out the chemistry part of this site, have you ever gone out with a guy that was suppose to be a good match, that you didn't find attractive? How many clients did these two women have, were the men also paying them 10,000? You'd think for that kind of money she could have gone on a singles cruise and had a lot more fun even if she didn't find a man. Though really, if you're 24 you don't need to be spending two years of your life saving $10k to blow it on something like this.
Hell, I'm not THAT much other than her, and I wouldn't do it if I had the money just sitting around.
I would say that, "You can't have everything," but why should anyone settle if they don't want to? As long as you accept that overpickiness can lead to "crazy cat lady" syndrome, it's fine. (And this is coming from someone that's very shy with strangers and very picky.) | |

I have known guys who shelled out MAJOR bucks for BRIDES from foreign countries, and some ended up with an empty wallet...
In fact I knew someone from Hawaii that spent over 100,000.00 bucks trying to win the love and devotion of a woman, she gladly took his money, and the guy she had been dating... She married the guy state side, but continued to take hawaiia guys money....
Then can anyone say sugar daddy and the sites they have for financial strings attached, but total freedom on both ends???
yes, one woman did something this blatantly silly, LOL... Seems by her going on TV she recouped the money she spent... I don't know, but that is something I am guessing.... | |
