| | Musicians, What is your favorite cover tune to play?Page 1 of 3 (1, 2, 3) | Mine would be Suicidal Tendencies - How will I Laugh Tomorrow. I love this bands style and have had so much fun playing them in the past.
Suicidal Tendencies started out as a Punk band before morphing into a Hardcore Heavy Metal band in the 80's.

Yes I love Helloween. How can anyone not! Wake Up The Mountain, Sole Survivor are two of my favorite songs.
Ah dude... if I had to pick my top 10 favorite Metal songs of the 80's, the song Helloween by Helloween would be near the top of the list. To this day that song gives me goose bumps!
Heaven and Hell by Sabbath would be another.

Awesome riffs and awesome slos. I can't song for shit but I love Dave's vocal performance on that song as well as all of Youthanaia. It's the last album where his voice is that intense and emotional.

If it's mainly women I go with something by Bryan Adams like Heaven or When You Love Someone, or maybe Karl Wallinger's She's The One. For a party I'd go with something like Get Back By The Beatles that everyone can sing along to, or even American Pie. Kids always get a kick out of Loudon Wainwright's Dead Skunk In The Middle Of The Road. Alas my main audience is my 6 month old grand-daughter and she coos happily to anything I play for her, especially anything in D for some reason.
