Who would have thunk it could happen.

I am amazed in awe, blown away!
I had been on pof for a while had talked to a few men but had not really met one that sparked my interest as much as I had sparked theirs.
Finally I got an email from "M" I read his profile and laughed so hard I cried. We began communicating. Not a barrage of emails just the odd one here and there.
He was quick witted with a sprinkle of sarcasm thrown in for good measure. I too can be sarcastic and quick witted.
After much cajoling I agreed to meet him at the local Timmie's. I ended up being late because I had received a telephone call just as I was about to leave that put me behind.
When I arrived at Tim's I walked in scanning the room as I only had a pic to go on. When I looked to my right, there he was with the biggest smile on his face. It literally lite up my world.
I preceded to the counter to place my order trying to act all cool and collective. I did not want this virtual stranger to know the full depth of the impact that smile had on me.
After getting my order I joined him and we began a six hour oddesy of conversation.
We walked down to the ocean and talked and not once in our conversation was there the awkward silence of someone you have just met.
At the end of our six hour date he gave me a nice hug and left. I was under the impression that for some reason I was not to his liking.
We had the odd email after that here and there as we both had a lot going on in our life's.
Then five month's later I get an email from him, my heart literally skipped a beat when I said it in my in box.
We have been together ever since. For the first time in my life I am with my mirror image. We are so much alike we finish each other's sentences and thoughts. It is the most comfortable loving relationship I have ever known.
Each and every day we make each other smile and laugh. He understands that it is the little things in life that mean the most. I always appreciate all that he does for me. Even if it is as simple as opening my car door, or making me a tea. I always thank him for the effort and consideration.
He has said we are "soul mates" and my mind has argued that it is not possible, but my heart has told me other wise.
We never know in life how long we have or how long love will last, all I can do is take it one day at a time and enjoy the moments big and small. I really do hope it will be for the rest of my life.
Good luck to you all who are still searching for that someone special who makes you feel as if you have finally come home after a long journey.
Never settle. "M" is not perfect by any means nor am I, but he is the perfect man for me.
