Ok Ive been to this thread more times than I care to admit. Ive written and re written my profile at least 8 times. Tried evrething from stupid profiles to long profiles. Short and sweet and honest and dishonest. So this time around I thought to myself, Why dont I just list what I enjoy and who I really am and the woman I want will come to me! Perfect right? But upon reading it over I'm thinking this is the kind of profile "Comic book guy" would write. I mean do women acctually go for this stuff? I'm thinking NO But before I say Quote "Worst profile ever" and walk away I would like some feedback. Did I do the right thing by listing who I really am? Should I maybe keep that secret? What do YOU think?
ANY feedback is appreciated! Mean or nice I really dont care. I just want an honest opinion. And while I'm here I always see these grey boxes with quotes in them from the author of the threads. I'm wondering, how do I do that?

No it is not so good. At all. Comic books as the first thing a lady would read? I mean if that is what you like that is all fine and good, but to have it as the first thing about you? not so good.

The rest is not so good either. I would just go with being 'youself' we are what we are and no amount of anything is gonna change the fundamental you. No matter what you say, write, pictures you post, interests you put is gonna matter much because you are the one that is gonna have to show up on the date. Unless you print your page out and staple it to your forehead.

Your pictures could use some work too and you need lots of them!

You need to write more about your interests besides comic books and trading cards. Not many women are going to share those interests.

List your real profession even if it's something generic like "retail" or "factory worker".


And while I'm here I always see these grey boxes with quotes in them from the author of the threads. I'm wondering, how do I do that?
You need to use the square brackets and enclose the word "quote" at the beginning and "/quote" at the end.
