Call me racist or closed minded if you wish its just a few interesting facts I stumbled upon and don't nessasairly reflect my views but since being politicaly correct 200% of the time is the new black none of you will probably get to read this.
When Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country they will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone: United States — Muslim 1.0% Australia — Muslim 1.5% Canada — Muslim 1.9% China — Muslim 1%-2% Italy — Muslim 1.5% Norway — Muslim 1.8%
At 2% and 3% they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs: Denmark — Muslim 2% Germany — Muslim 3.7% United Kingdom — Muslim 2.7% Spain — Muslim 4% Thailand — Muslim 4.6%
From 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population.They will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves — along with threats for failure to comply. At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia, the Islamic Law. France — Muslim 8% Philippines — Muslim 5% Sweden — Muslim 5% Switzerland — Muslim 4.3% The Netherlands — Muslim 5.5% Trinidad & Tobago — Muslim 5.8%
When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions (Paris — car-burnings) . Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats (Amsterdam – Mohammad cartoons). If they where facts there would be sources to back up the data.
But you know what is not interesting?
Statistics.
Why?
Because they are only numbers and you can make numbers prove anything you want when your are only using two sets of criteria.
1 - % of a certain religion.
2 -% of certain levels of violence.
It is completely irresponsible to make any claims with out disqualifying every other possible contributing factor.
Muslims, Christians etc.. do not bother me, but people that have a hate for others based on their religion do, as they are the people causing the problems. | |

If they where facts there would be sources to back up the data.
There are its just easier to say there is not to bias your own argument if you could even call it that. If I knew you didn't know how to research I would have took the 5 minutes to do it for you.

Considering I have seen this in the Forums before I can only assume that is what you used for your source.....copy and paste!
This sounds like hate mongering. Isn't that illegal?
You want a valid debate on the subject? Compare multiple religions, not just one. Throw in "facts" about Atheists also.  | |

Posted: 10/24/2009 8:59:05 PM | I'd like to see similar statistics for other religions, for comparison. I'm sure any anthropological study that would take the time to break down the data pertaining to violence and religion would do so in a comparitive manner. Otherwise, it's targeting.
I would say that, based on your statistical data that Spryfield must be at least 40% Muslim. Ireland must be about the same. I mean...all those pipe bombs.

How about someone else assembles on a particular religion some facts instead of expecting me to do all the work this is a forum for discussion is it not?

Not to be flippant, but what was the purpose of this post if not to demonize Muslims? This is the most important point in WW's "statistics" - what are you trying to prove anyway? What you are saying IS racist/discriminatory, as you are over-simplifying and portraying one type of people (or one general belief system) as being violent and promoting terror. Even if your figures DID prove this (they can't, and all the above have ably argued) how would you be serving the world by pointing it out? Are you trying to provoke people into hating Muslims? And why would that benefit anyone? Look at your own motives before you attribute terrorist motives to anyone else. | |
