In need of soft melodies
Whispered to and gently
Carressed into a peaceful tranquility
The darkness once shadowed
Over her presence
And left her wanting,
Desiring a life of sanctuary
I saw the deepest places
Within her nights and
Desperation in torment
When there was nothing
More she could see
Afraid to reach out to
Take the next hand to be
I know now it was meant for me
For I alone am the one she sees
I cast away those painful ways
The world had taken her thru
Gave her my eternal light
And showed her my love is true. | |
