| ?SUNDAY BRUNCH? Posted: 10/25/2009 10:32:02 AM | I searched the threads and except way back in 2005 found no mention of this and don't see it posted as a regular get-together. Not sure if that means there is no interest in doing so or people are so busy on the weekend they just can't find time in their schedule???
Me...I'm a Sunday Brunch kind of girl... and when I lived in Calgary I really enjoyed the regular get-together at Kane's. A throw back to Happy Days is the best way to describe the decor: great food, good service, reasonably price. Average attendance: 25 or more, sometimes WAY more; weekly event although not specifically an organized one; you simply came or you didn't!
I realize Vancouver/the Lower Mainland is much larger than Calgary so finding a "central" location is not that easy but I would still like to know if there are some fish out there who might enjoy starting (or ending, if that's your point of view) their week in a very casual "get to know you" sort of way?
If you decide to respond it would be great to have suggestions on a location! While I was born and raised here it's been quite a few years since I actually lived here and lots has changed.
Looking forward to some feedback! | |

| ?SUNDAY BRUNCH? Posted: 10/25/2009 11:05:06 AM | | Some people tended to regularly host brunch events. Search the British Columbia forums for "brunch" and you will find several POF Sunday Brunch events, mostly in the lower mainland, this year. Perhaps if you touch bases with the hosts you can get one arranged. | |
