Posted: 10/29/2009 6:29:02 AM | I have met quite a few ppl at these events, and have met some really good ppl, women and men... that to this day I am still friends with. Sometimes its not just the love connection but a life connection of what we have gone thru or common interests.
You should come check it out fair2midland, you never know whats going to happen. Its the unexpected.... that we dream about.... I gave up expecting things to happen... and that is how I have met some wonderful people.

I googled the band's name but didn't come up with anything. Do you know what type of music they play?

Thanks so much for the invite. The band I work for is playing that same night at Medina BR but we go on last so I will try to come early before our show. Sounds like everyone had a great time at the last two, I was so sorry I had to miss them. Thanks to you both for the all the work you must do to pull them together, good job!! Just come early for a chance to chat with other pof ppl and whoever else is there...I am coming a little early with 2 friends and I have about 3 or 4 other ppl I am meeting down there before the bands starts. I am looking forward to this! I went to the last meet and greet in Robbinsdale. I went alone and may very well come alone again. I am rather shy about going up to strangers and talking but is that the way to meet people? Is it appropriate to just walk up to a table and introduce myself? I am hoping to dance this time....maybe I have to ask the gentlemen? I am shy but really wnat to meet other singles, especially the men! | |
