Edit: dude.. this site has a "morality marker"
By that I mean that if you DO email a woman who has "intimate encounter" listed as what she is seeking.. you wind up putting a BLACK MARK on your own profile/identity
that black mark gets you BLOCKED from contacting women who CAN put a designation that they DONT want to be contacted.. by ANYONE WHO HAS CONTACTED SOMEONE SEEKING AN INTIMATE ENCOUNTER
MOST women on here select that as a LIMITING FACTOR.. effectively EXCLUDING YOU from contacting them..

Can you see that mark yourself? I wonder what happens if a woman from IE writes me and I reply, not knowing her category. Do I get marked or is it first contact only? And even then, what if I do a private message from a forum post? I wouldn't even know. And my average fan mail would immediately drop from zero to nothing... | |

One thing you might want to do is compare the amount of men looking for intimate encounters in your area as opposed to the amount of women looking. I believe you'll find a major difference. So you have to ask yourself: do you think your message will have any chance of being answered? My girlfriend occasionally posts a profile in intimate encounters,and she'll get 200-300 replies within a few days. Posted: 10/29/2009 9:08:27 AM | No, you cant see your own black mark. Also.. the NUMBER of contacts it takes to have your account HAVE that blackmark is the great secret mystery. They wont tell you that either.
Anecdotally.. some say over 10.. some say over 5. I dont remember if I sent one or three but I got the mark.. very inadverdantly.
After that first viewing and about 10 emails.. I didnt come on for over a year. It seemed to me to be all fakers anyway.. since 7 of those initial emails SEEMED to be a perfect match.. and NO response from them either..

Posted: 10/29/2009 11:02:05 AM | The way I understood it, once you send one initial contact to someone that has Intimate Encounters as their purpose for being here, you get flagged and then someone that has a restriction to prevent receiving messages from someone looking for Intimate Encounters will block any contact. From what I've seen it's one of the more common restrictions women have on their profiles right up there with not being married.
If you're going to message one of them, be sure that's the only reason you want to be here forever because you will be limited. | |

Also, be wary of people who are claiming to want Intimate ecounters, as it is often a advertising/screening tool used by many women, which was very popular back when they had visible favourites. What they did was put down IE first, wait unitl they garnered enough publicity, then switch to long term. This would garner them the most attention while preventing those people who did e-mail them earlier from contacting them in the future. | |
