Tuesday November 3rd-Capri's multi talent motown done in a personal way---come join the fun with dancing and listening to live music...with an awesome band that plays the best from Barry White to Lou Rawls. The singers from the Mix band loads of fun during the week 8:00 to 11:30 and many other talents that come and sing ....come join the fun it's free and lots of fun hope to see you there....capri 17w 400 22nd street right next to the Holiday Inn and a couple of blocks from rte 83 on 22nd street...Oakbrook Terrace, IL

Posted: 10/29/2009 7:17:27 AM | | awwww Laurie thank you mini me but I learned from the best..... every Tuesday the capri has many talents walk in and sing a couple of tunes last week Ed Collins and his side kick was joined by Del Green from the shi Lites and Jerry hendrix from the drifters...Ed has joined the drifters and sometimes sings by himself....tuesday the 3rd it is going to be Laurie and Mike that sing from 70's to now ....and I was told 2 different group of singers are joining in on Tuesday so come and have fun you won't want to miss it...Irene my co-host and I go every Tuesday and thought what a great thing to introduce to our friends at POF so thank you Laurie for posting this for me..... | |

Besides that, since I was out with you and Rita yesterday and gone/out all weekend...I will probably be going home and crashing as soon as I get there. LOL

I was totally into Motown growing up and the sounds & memories get better each week. The energy of the music is contagious & if you aren't dancing you're singing along. Hope to see you there! | |
