and looking at all the lovely young ladies, and it struck me , are the young ladies looking at me an older man and thinking ,"core I'd like to get into bed with him",
somehopes?? just a thought.

some young ladies are very open to it.
others dislike the idea.
it's like interracial dating. some women do, others don't. it's a preference. like short, tall, fat, good dancer, same type of music, religion, etc | |

Posted: 10/29/2009 11:31:50 AM | OP -- I dunno if there's any stats to support any theory, and certainly not any conclusion...but I can say from my own observations that this seems to be happening a lot, and always has as near as I can tell.
Younger girl + older man = experience
Younger girl + younger man = trial and error

Op, im 22 and I'v dated guys my age and i'v also dated guys much older then I, the oldest guy i'v dated was 36 at the time and others have ranged in between 22 and 36. IMO its like dating any other guy, you'v got to be attracted to them, have some things in common(or not lol). Speaking for myself, i find that older guys/men that i'v dated are more "grounded", they don't want to party all the time ( and yes i know that not every guy around my age wants to party all the time as well)
As for the sex aspect of dating older guys... i find they have more experience, and there not all that quick when it comes to foreplay. I find its much better then with guys my age who don't last nearly as long lol :)

yeah, what could young ladies possibly see in attractive, fun to be with older men not looking to bed them on the first date but rather give them the room and respect that they crave and the acceptance of their children as a total package deal????

Not exactly right...Tull is a long time favorite of mine, and yes as an old timer one of the best concerts I have ever seen. When I was a junior in high school, 17, and in a state where they served liquor to 18 year olds. A different world than what it is now.
Ad yeah, it's pretty much a myth. As a 50+ guy I did have a bit of a fling with a 29 year old blond tho....ah the memories. At least I can still remember!

Then again there are women in their 20's who will date the "much" older guys. | |

We happened to meet at a party, and hit it off. We broke up because we came from different worlds he was almost a generation older than me. He really should have been dating my mother, and I should have been dating his son (if he had one). You might find a younger girl who you hit it off with, and best of luck to you if you do, but most girls that date older men have daddy issues (or so the studies say). Do you really want to date someone who just needs a dad since theirs was missing in action growing up? | |

Couldn't have said it better myself! This is one reason why I have thought older guys may be a more attractive option.
At the same time, I don't think age matters either way, as long as there is chemistry between two people. Age is just a number! | |

At the same time, I guess it is as possible for older guys to use someone as much as the next young guy. Alot of them seem to be getting their second wind these days anyway, cos there's plenty single ones around lol | |

i once went out with a lady 22years my junior and we fell in live but it wasn't to be, because i was married.
Now.. its not the age difference that bothers me... but. come on, you were married. Maybe you should have waited until you weren't married then maybe something would have came of it. A statement like that bugs the hell out of me.. does commitment not mean anything anymore ?
Anyways.. aside from that, your welcome. Some women(and men) have a preference for dating older people and vise versa. I mean, look at Celine Dion and her husband Rene, there's a 26 year age difference.( sorry, their the only people i can think of with a huge age gap and are still married lol) So some can make it work.. and with others.. there's not a hope in hell that their relationship will last. | |
