| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 12:12:15 AM | | Hey guys what's up? I'm writing this because I'm curious if anyone has had any luck with pheromones? I recently bit the bullet and decided to go ahead and buy a bottle. (Now that I'm writing this it makes me sad to think that I have stooped to this level in order to attract a decent looking female lol) Well any input on experience s with these types of products would greatly be appreciated. | |

| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 12:17:31 AM | I don't have experience with an actual bottle of pheromones but I can definitely tell you that sometimes there is just something about the way a guy smells to me that makes me want to go after him...and it isn't a cologne smell. It's just "his" smell. And sometimes "his" smell is a complete turn off.
I didn't know you could actually buy it bottled up. Good luck with that! :) Hopefully it works out for you.
|
| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 12:21:54 AM | | haha yep the musk of a man now comes bottled up and ready to go haha oh man this weekend should be good: bottle of beer in one hand...check, bottle of pheromones in the other...check | |
|
| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 12:26:56 AM | You'll have to come back to POF Monday and let us know if the stuff worked or not!! I'm curious now! :) Hmm...I wonder if there's been a guy I was attracted to who was secretly wearing the stuff? How very curious...
Too bad you're in TX...I'd totally come smell you and tell you if there was a difference or not lol
|
| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 12:30:34 AM | | haha yeah I will def fill you in on whether it was a success or not, I'm pretty skeptical but hey you never know. Hopefully it's not like sex panther from anchorman haha | |
|
| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 12:33:53 AM | LOL I will cross my fingers and toes for you
I read some of your other postings...seems it is high time you found yourself that certain something special. Halloween could be just the event for that.
Just don't put too much on...this could happen:

| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 12:39:47 AM | | ^hahaha well thank u kindly I appreciate the crossing of the fingers and toes ;) If the above scenario happens I think I will probably buy a year's supply of pheromone cologne, quit school and sell it on the streets haha | |
|
| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 12:57:51 AM | It'll become the new drug of choice! Pretty soon you'll see episodes of Cops tackling women who can't enough of it and men will join rehab!
Have you seen those commercials for men's body spray...the "Bow chicka wowwow" ones?....haha if you haven't seen them, look it up! The lady at the supermarket is good stuff. I forget the brand though. I want to say AXE but it might be their competitors...
|
| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 1:44:03 AM | Thanks for the offer.... But no thanks...
Find a comfortable corner, and smell yoself...
I'm busy sniffin' after wimmin folk....
|
| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 3:38:46 AM | | You should have just bought a bottle of sweat...the bottle of sweat has about the same amount of actual pheromomones that are in your perfume... | |
|
| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 3:50:36 AM | (Now that I'm writing this it makes me sad to think that I have stooped to this level in order to attract a decent looking female lol) Just out of curiosity, what makes you think that the women the pheromones attract will be decent looking? Is there some ingredient that repels ugly women, or were you duped by the hot chicks in the add?
Besides, the human body already extracts pheromones.

Ha-ha!! That's exactly what I was thinking as I read through this. On women, there are very few "smelly products" that really attracted me. One had a name having to do with the ocean or beach (no, it wasn't Kramer's beach-smelling cologne), and the other one had a smell like citrus and spice, but not overpowering. Most others just make me itch and not in a good way.
Oh! There was one other one - one of Liz Taylor's. I was told it was White Diamonds and Sapphires, but all I see is Diamonds and Sapphires or White Diamonds. Don't know if they changed the name or the woman mixed up the names or she mixed the two or what. At any rate, neither smelled the same by itself, together or on anyone else, so it was probably the way it reacted with that particular woman's chemistry.

| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 5:57:08 AM | | If it works for you, you can then go out and buy some Extenze... | |
|
| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 7:05:11 AM | | OP personally I don't think that stuff works much, if at all. Better off with just a good cologne. Your body releases pheromones anyway and nature doesn't require that much help IMO. Since you bought it though, try it yourself. I've had them before; never noticed much difference frankly. | |
|
| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 7:22:11 AM | The human body also produces pigment - so why makeup?
Further, yes I have tried pheromone-based cologne and my experiences have been positive. Hardly a scientific study, since of course I was aware of the fact at the time, which means that my actions would have been affected to some degree. Like any cologne or perfume, it varies from person to person depending on your own body chemistry and how it reacts to it.
BTW - if you are at all squeamish, best not to delve too deeply into what ingredients go into colognes and perfumes and makeup. You may be closer to nature than you think.

| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 8:09:06 AM | I had a friend years ago that bought a bottle of that stuff he brought it into work and showed all the boys because he claimed it worked for him said women were spending more time talking to him and he swore by it untill we started teasing him that it was just 'dead mans sperm' he was wiping on himself but still...he claimed it was working so good luck OP have some fun and let us know how things work for ya !

| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 8:26:05 AM | | I agree with Msg #2 - there is just something about a man's own smell, that either is a turn on or a turn off...under the cologne and soap or whatever. Wonder how the stuff you got will work? | |
|
| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 1:13:25 PM | Scent is one of the more stronger "come ons" there is. Also, a fake wedding ring works! As do BS stories. In combination...you're golden! Good luck! | |

Congratulations you proved that you can sell anything to anybody by paying for something that you produce naturally.
You want pheromones, stop covering them up with deodorant.
|
| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 4:00:35 PM | I hope you're not dressing up like Pepe Le Pew for halloween. This is human pheromones we're talking about here right? 'Cause I know a funny story about a deer beating the crap out of a hunter who was wearing deer pheromones. lmao | |

Hey guys what's up?
My sense of ire and outrage about false advertising. I totally thought this was going to be a thread about dutch ovens.
|
| smell me Posted: 10/30/2009 7:15:18 PM | | I've heard a couple of those deer stories! Never spill the deer bait on yourself! That poor bugger almost got killed! | |
|
| smell me Posted: 10/31/2009 7:39:53 AM | Enquiring minds want to know please get back to us. lol How much did these cost? Was is it at least a couple hours of pay for you? Could you have used that time to communicate and connect with someone? Well Seriously If you just go out and try to be a nice guy and be patient and not expect instantaneous results it might just happen without the pheremones. | |
|
| smell me Posted: 10/31/2009 8:18:19 AM | Seeing a lot of people on high horses here. It's so funny. Unless you have never done anything deliberately to attract another person, it is downright hypocritical to condemn somebody for trying a pheromone cologne. There is no difference between that and selecting wardrobe which would make you more attractive, wearing any scent, choosing a particular word/phrase with the intent of manipulating them, choosing an event/place for a date hoping they would enjoy themselves and by extension yourself, applying makeup to appear more attractive, etc.
For that matter, even using POF (yeah, yeah, I know - you're all here just for the forums LMAO) falls under that category.
Doesn't really bother me, though. I just enjoy good irony. And these forums are a great place to find it.

Yes it just seems like such a huge measure to go to when your looking for someone to really connect with you.
