People who fill out your Chemistry Test don't think that individual answers will be searchable. I'm betting people will start complaining about first messages referencing, "Hey, you want to get married. Me too."
There's no guarantee of anonymity, but I think you're crossing a line. | |

Posted: 10/30/2009 8:34:57 PM | Don't take this wrong but many were horrified on the "who thinks your hot" when they realized they were showing on other peoples "who thinks your hot" when they really did not think that.
I am imagining many who show up on the ready for marriage will be just as upset.
My chemistry is N/A .... will the ones with N/A still show up on the ready for marriage? Honestly for example I want long term but may never get married again. To me being married is just a piece of paper. I should never show up as ready for marriage for example. It is a lot differant at my age, if you think marriage is important. I want a LTR but not so sure about marriage for example. So this worries me.

I think this feature could be more useful though. Are the men in the Marriage search results a "subset" of My Matches ???? If not, I think this feature is useless. If it is, great! | |

What IS good, is coming up with new ideas like this. Trying different things out. It's good to see. Keep the site evolving. I think you need an iPhone App. The ability to upload pics from an iphone would be great, keep things fresh. The only time I hit my comp these days, is to update pics.

Dont understand how the question (?) reconciles the answer.

I have zero interest in those people.
The question could be
Do you believe in marriage?
I wouldnt be looking for someone who wants to get married.
Id be looking for someone who wants to get married to me.
They're 2 different things.
Id like to see a search that allows you to take out of your search parameters some of the following in a few brutal clicks of the mouse;
Do you believe in marriage?
Yes... No... Possibly/With the right person
Do you believe relationships should be based on Love or Compatibility or both?
Love... Compatibility... Both
Do you believe in joint finances in a relationship?

I checked the new feature out...not bad...a lot of smokin' hot babes there...they don't look ready to settle down though. Ah early stages yet.....
What I'd really be keen on is another feature as part of PoF's evolution.....the new Ovulating feature that's coming soon. Ovulating this Friday?...something like that would be good....or Who wants to be called Papa?for the blokes...

yes, I see your point^^^^^^^^^^but the sad reality IS it just doesn't work that way. ALL the choices/options that are/have been available forever are easily played with by anyone that becomes a member on here.
to keep the males at arm's length females choose talk/email, dating, NOT SINGLE/NOT LOOKING, activity partner, I JUST WANT FRIENDS................."I'm JUST looking for friends"! Then they continue by telling the whole world of their list of serious relationships and latest dating episodes gone sour! I thought they said they "just wanted friends"??? GOTTA LOVE THAT!!!

yes, you can advertise that you are wanting to get married............nothing wrong with that in itself..............but is that REALLY what that person WANTS and IS searching for??? Therein is the million-dollar question.
the morale of this post is: if you don't find SOMEWAY to pre-screen EVERYONE using this site BEFORE they become a member, in such a way that they must be TOTALLY HONEST as to their intentions, purpose, and WHO and WHAT they ARE, then "choices" and "selections" about questions you have for them that they make are USELESS and FUTILE!!!!!!
