Terri, Jeff and I would like to thank you all for attending.
Congrats again to RJ & Patti. The wedding festivities were beautiful and fun.
Thanks Fletcher & Dave for all you do to accommodate our party. The decorations were awesome!

Sorry I didn't make it last night.... at about 6:30 I started feeling like I was coming down with the flu... so I stayed home and watched Two and a Half Men re-runs. No point in taking chances with the flu bug.. there's no way I could have kept my lips off of you people!!
Can't wait to see the pics and hear about the great time everyone had!
Congrats Patti and RJ.... when RJ said he would love Patti until the day he died... I sobbed.... I hope we all find love like that!!

Posted: 11/1/2009 2:11:14 PM | Oh yes, Sparks ... I cried from the moment Blaze stood there waiting at
the rail to escort his Mom to her future Husband ... rose petals falling
from the balcony ... Bride trailing down the staircase ... to the beautiful
arbor arch where her beloved mom, family, friends and future husband
waited for her.
I cried as Robin's outfit and hair matched the decorations ... I cried at
the beautiful song, I cried at the words, I cried when the words "who
gives this girl away?" were asked ... and Blaze and Mom said "WE DO".
I cried at all the cameras that were flashing ... and the movies that were
being taken and at all the love that filled the room ... all the people helping
people do everything. I cried at the speeches ... and especially when RJ
said Patti was speechlesss when they got engaged (and I was lucky
enough to be there, too)... and even at the part where he said it was the
very 1st time he ever heard her speechless ... I cried.
It was just a plain beautiful joining of two beautiful people in front of a
wonderful room full of people ... 3 cheers for the Bride and Groom ...
Love from the Other Woman. 
The Halloween Party was wonderful ... so many new faces (or maybe
it was just the costumes!) ... It was GREAT seeing you all!!!

I can't even tell you how many people (I didn't even know) came right up congratulated and wished me luck on our marriage. We just feel so welcome here at sidelines. It really is like Cheers (where everybody knows your name). If only we didn't have to wait for special occaisions to be together with all of those people we care so much about. We were expecting nothing more than having a good time with good people. We should have known we would get more than we expect at Sidelines. Dave and Fletch, awsome job guys! Robin-You did an excellent job performing the ceremony for these two awesome friends. The party rocked as only Sidelines can.

Turns out Giant Eagle gave Michael Myers a position in the deli after their meat slicer apparently broke.
RJ~ Believe it or not...they did! But then they had Justus do the background check on me, and it all went to Hell quicker than me going down for a $20 dollar bill. Yea, they knew I escaped from the insane asylum in Haddonfield, although I kept preaching it was Van Nuys, out in Cali, not in Illinois.
What a terrific Saturday it was starting off with Tucker the Suckers cold nose hitting me on my taint, awakening me from my wet dream of singing a Barry Manilow song nude on stage on tour with HOAGIE Inc. Man, if I was scary that night, seeing me in the morning tops that like hot sauce to eggs. If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I'm friggin' blessed to have a chick that puts up with that macabre. A certain blue M&Ms coffee I would swear is 90,000 screaming watts, and honey dripping from her pot, by far the 2nd best way for me to awake as I prepared for the wedding.
The wedding was immaculate to say the least. For all involved, you guys kicked ass, great job! Everybody looked great, Red did an awesome job like always and the speeches really touched the heart....truly amazing, and a class act! I'll never forget the glow from this.
The party rocked, congrats to Frito Bandito on winning best costume, and "The Flasher" for being runner up.....and a big runner up she had. OK, so I got this garter that was fired my way that somehow found it's way around my finger, I wasn't sure what to do with it, but I started wearing it in an effort to get some bacardi and coke money...but it didn't work, oh well. Velma was very cool, childhood memories for me there.

CEO~ Question. I know we escaped after 9 months, then we often failed before becoming HOAGIEs to get back into the box, so I'm glad you're leading by example. Was getting into the box as hard as it looked?

What a fantastic way to leave POF with a Halloween party with all my northern friends! I has such a fantastic time getting to know you all. The parties at Sidelines have always been fun for me. I have enjoyed being sandwiched by Terry, Mike, Sean, Richard and Dave. No complaints from this willing hoagie victim.
Remember first impressions are not always correct. Get to know someone before you judge them. We are all here to make friends and meet our potential mate. Please be kind to all new people, we do not know what they have been through.

The decorations were fabulous, the DJ ...wonderful, the creativity and humor shown in all the costumes was unbelievable!
Congratulations to the Newlyweds, I wish you much love and happiness for the next 50 years or so.
Big thanks to all who took and posted all the GREAT pictures.
One more thing, I am no longer afraid to watch any of the "Halloween" movies... Michael Myers isn't so bad after all | |
