Please could you rate and give honest opinions on my profile, I never seem to get any replies, been on here a while. I'd like to think it shows my personality and all photos have me smiling
Before you ask, I am 23, I can't help looking young.

Posted: 11/2/2009 11:17:06 AM | Hey ya Matt – Overall your profile isn’t too bad… but it is sort of bland. You need to stand out more as you are competing with a million other guys.
Talking about your travels is a good thing. Why don’t you tell a bit about your job as a Civil Servant. You may know what you do, but the girls will want to know that as well!
Your random thoughts are ok… but the reason you don’t fall off the earth in AU is due to gravity. The REAL question I have is why the toilets swirl the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere?
I would open up your age range some… or just kill it completely. If a woman that was 25 wanted to contact you, she wouldn’t be able to.
You need to clean up your photos some. I would use the #2 picture as your main as it is a better picture and clear. You might want to caption the picture of you standing in front of the falls… and your sporting event one just to let others know! Add more pictures as well... This is about 80% of the profile.
Add more interests (8-12 total) as they are searchable and how you are matched up with the ladies.
The last line can be deleted completely as the ladies are going to want YOU to contact them first.

More advice from other people here would be appreciated, would any of you women reply to someone like me.

Posted: 11/2/2009 3:02:00 PM | The main thing is the primary photo, that is what draws the people in to check what you have to say. Close-up in good light with a smile. Look at majic, you can actually see his face! I can not see yours.

Posted: 11/2/2009 11:06:11 PM | Part of the issue for me as your imaginery viewer would be that you've announced you'll be going away for two months within the year. Why would I emotionally invest in someone who's taking off? Just sayin'....
Why not put New Zealand and Australia in your Interests field? When you mention them in your profile, you can ask your viewer "Have you ever been there?" If they have, what a great opening for a conversation.
I'd challenge you to rewrite at least have of the sentences that begin with the word "I". It's really hard to do, I know.
In your description about the girl you'd like to meet, you mention you'd like her to have a nice smile and nice eyes. That's a bit generic, but I get what you're saying. Instead, you could say, "A great smile will make me forget my name and if you happen to have (blue? brown? green?) eyes, I'll be putty in your hands". or some such mush. | |
