Posted: 11/2/2009 2:29:29 PM | Have you ever been asked to guess someones age only to get it wayyyy wrong and said they looked older then they actually are..Why do some folk do this if they cant take it when you say they look older then thay actually are..
Although I have to say I have looked at some profiles on here and their either lying or had a bloody hard paper round..
I just told a fella he looked a lot older on his profile pic than it says he is on his profile , and he said I need my eyes testing..Why ask if you dont like the answer..

Posted: 11/2/2009 2:31:50 PM | I hate it when people ask that question. I look at them and guess their age in my head, minus about a decade and give them the answer, all the while thinking they know I'm lying to them!
Always love it when someone thinks I'm younger than I am though.

Anyway, why would anyone want to look younger (or be told they look younger) than they are? What do they think that means. I might think you look 50 and gorgeous. On the other hand I might think you look like a 35 year old bulldog or the dog's 20 year old dinner, so what does asking people how old they think you look accomplish? Silly game. | |

I also take it as a compliment that I get a lot of wee boys around the 19-21 mark looking at my profile and a fair few mailing me. I'm not so flattered when they refer to me as an older woman. What hope is there if I'm considered older
But I don't play that game because I am dreadful at it and the person asking is only doing it so you'll say they are younger than they actually are. | |

I too take it as a great compliment when Im asked for ID though the last time it was at the supermarket and the kids were teasing me about my age, so I'm sure she only did it to back me up against them! I don't realy think I look that young anymore, so when I get asked now I think they either didn't really notice me or are just asking every 5th customer or something.
I was 32 the first time I went in a 'real' nightclub rather than a late bar, and the bouncer asked me for ID... that time I did believe him... I squealed with delight and gave him a kiss on the cheek! Needless to say I'd had a few for the first time in a few years though! | |
