I've contacted mos women who are at least 90% compatible according to this website, and all I get is "you are not my type".... How is it possible that I am not their type if according to POF we are sometimes even 100% compatible ? I really don't understand this website.... I think there's something very wrong with it.... I will start contacting the 90%+ enemy.... I'm sure I'll have better luck there... Not a single thread of confidence in the analysis or parameters used to match people in here. Bottom line: POF is just another free social networking site that has nothing to offer as "match maker" Your opinion on this ? What is you uptake on the subject ?

I think if your expecting a computer to pick a match and they will agree you need to get off dating sites. You want the truth? For real? Your profile is what sells you on here. I have never looked at matches on here and never had anyone contact me because of them. They look at your pics and read your profile. If they don't find you attractive on some level they won't reply even if your a 100 percent gold sealed super duper sure thing match. Matches are a general guide meant to maybe help ya. There is no guarantee that someone that shows up on a match is going to think your cute. Quit depending on anything to make you a match. Contact those you find interesting. Most normal guys with normal profiles on here are doing good to get a 5 percent reply rate. Good Luck Cowboy

Cowboy, Just curious as I am getting more or less back into the dating scene plus online dating. Is there a recommended site for tips on finding a online date, you know stuff like that. I have read several books and well they are more or less the same. :) But anyways I find that its hard to contact a person first, maybe to even write the opennig conversation letter... mrlamm, I am going to agree with the above statement. Repsectfully, post a positive smiling close up as a main picture, it's not only recommended here at Plenty of Fish it works.

And one more thought "90% + enemy" isn't a truely positive attitude . . . I understand searching here for any length of time can get frustrating, take a break for a few days, and then come back maybe things will look a little brighter. Positive, smiling, sense of humor all a must for this type of adventure - on line dating.

You're only compatible on paper. Doesn't mean you're no where near compatible in real life.

Bottom line: POF is just another free social networking site that has nothing to offer as "match maker"

Bottom line: 2 different cars in a side by side comparison with 19 criteria that all meet your needs exactly - the 20th being what the car looks like.
