1. web cams don't take great pics but they can take decent pics. ensure you have proper lighting and a web cam pic will be more than sufficient. i suggest smiling in your main pic. it's more inviting. you look spooked in the 2nd pic and it looks very different to the first pic.
2. smoking will turn a lot of women off. just as an fyi.
3. you should add more interests. you need as many possible conversation starters as possible and you're looking Long Term so this will help with finding a compatible match or someone with common interests.
4. beef up the about me section. it's too short and nondescript. tell people reading your profile why you aren't the average joe. talk about the kind of person you are, then talk about what you are looking for, using different paragraphs for each. be creative and state what you'd like in positive terms.
5. your first date isn't bad but remove the "heck i don't know". without it, it seems like you put some thought into the first date idea.
6. don't forget to use your mail settings to set up parameters as to who can message you. (you're looking long term...do you really want someone 20 yrs old?)
