It would be far more likely that any sensible mother would be writing "If you are a stupid moronic male who thinks that because I am a mother I am desperate for companionship and intimacy at any cost..please get lost" | |

Posted: 11/6/2009 7:07:49 PM | The OP did not ask a question, he made a statement, probably designed to make him appear as a goody two shoes and prime catch for a vulnerable woman who might be thinking she did something wrong by being a mother, but maybe not, perhaps he is genuinely concerned about the emotional state of Irish mothers and their low self esteems and apologetic ways, just because they suffer the drudgery of that position and the dreadful guilt of not being in a committed relationship with the father of their child/ren.
I know what I'm talking about damn near cost me my life and yes I mean just that.

What do they do to men...do they gobble them up for breakfast or something and then spit them out???
It's a life changing, incredible achievement to become a parent regardless of gender and any woman who feels less of a person for doing something so great would be silly to believe that, naturally there has to be some follow through and being a mother isn't the be all and end all, clearly you have to put a bit of time and effort into your lucky and blessed happenstance and parent to the best of your ability....we're not living in the times a certain regular poster on here would have us believe we are you know...the Magdalene laundries are no longer a shameful reality and nor is the option of sending your wife off to the nut house rather than divorce her so you can shack up with a country girl twenty years younger than you. | |

Posted: 11/13/2009 4:51:01 PM | I don't know who on earth hairybear was but his pof forum life was shortlived for a good reason most probably (I secretly think he was the ex lover of the great and funny 'simply me being me').
I've spoken with Tecnic outside of this forum and he's actually a really funny and nice person, a little unusual but he was teasing people on here ..and lots of us loved it and understood that he was a joker - I swear he is very normal aside from a couple of quite extraordinary quirks...Like his mad adoration for shiny and belief that he is the god of hospital radio.
