I think that we would all like to know how you folks up there came through.
Any stories about the storm, damage, hurricane parties, etc.

Well, if you have electricity yet.

Well its not really news but I did fly through that storm about 4 times. First time I flew from Chicago to Huntsvill Alabama, hit the northern edge of it. Then flew back through it going up to Chicago. Then the next day in Ohio I got it again flying through whats left of it twice. I hope all is well for those who got hit by it.

Here in Pensacola things didn't go too badly. I lost power for two days and lost a shingle from my roof. During the hurricane... Well... I kind of slept through it. Not like Ivan... Ivan was really frightening here. You kept thinking that it was just going to ball up a fist and crush your house flat. My parents lost their entire office and warehouse in Ivan, and it was solid cinderblock; Dennis barely knocked down power lines.

Its kins funny because the places that were supposed to get all of the damage did'nt and the places that were not supposed to get damaged did. Down in alligator point, the road is completely GONE! you could not even drive down it in a 4x4! The KOA, basically gone. Angelos resturant. Basically gone. and down in st. marks,,, Posey's is under water!!
