Posted: 11/4/2009 1:17:23 AM | I make posts on events I am interested in joining and those I run myself, I have made a lot of true friends here ( more than you would believe ) and its an easy way for everyone to keep up to date with what is happening with my POF 'family'.
Being a little 'outspoken' ( not really, I just put my point forward, to which others take offense ) I have also made a few 'enemies', however, that is their problem as all my posts are made for the right reasons, with the right intentions !!!
I guess I actually have a life and POF helps me keep it organised..............  | |

Kinda like those people who talk really loud in cafes so that everyone around them hears what they are saying, and keeps looking over the shoulder of the person they are talking to in order to see who else might tune in to what they are saying and perhaps respond.

Since that comment was obviously addressed to me personally, I'm deliberately not going to get a life, just to spite you.
I post on here because I am sapient, as has been noted in another thread.
Much to my relief, I recently found out 'sapient' does not mean something that leaks, or that I ooze, which is the original mental image that word conjured up for me.

Yeah, weird huh? I always thought that 'homo sapiens' translated as 'poofters that ooze' and it never made sense at all!
Now, of course, I know that it means poofters that think! Phew.
It still doesn't make sense, but it sounds so much more wholesome.
Of course there's also homo sapiens sapiens, which kinda means 'doubly wise poofters'.
Where will it end? 'Wise poofters cubed'?
You see why we need to have these kind of forum discussions, OP?

Well OP..it definitely stimulates my..umm...whatever that thing is that gets stimulated.
