| What no spinach quiche recipes? halp!! Posted: 11/3/2009 7:18:26 PM | There must be thousands if I google, just enough to get a fella confuzzled, I am sure I could make one even with the variations, but what if any are the 'secrets' of making this stuff?
I want to use feta and cheddar, mushrooms, maybe black olives, spinach for sure, fresh basil leaves, garlic definitely. How about sun dried tomatoes, capers, or anchovies? Too much? Try it and see?
Been requested to make spinach quiche with some variations, so I need some ideas so that the dinner guest and myself can sorta pick and choose and make it our own way. Gonna be fun!
Edit in response to reply below, feta = goat right? Are they not the same?

| What no spinach quiche recipes? halp!! Posted: 11/6/2009 6:16:25 AM | Good morning..help is on the way..
Spinach Quiche oven 400 degrees
2 1/2 cups of caned or frozen spinach> drain then really good. 1 cup of Bisquick 1/3 cup onion minced 1/3 cup mushrooms> you might want more 1 cup feta cheese 2 cups milk 4 eggs 1/8 tsp. of pepper> the recipe calls for salt but the feta already has enough salt and over powers the taste..but if you like 1/4 tsp. of salt Heat oven to 400 degrees.Lightly grease 10" pie plate.Sprinkle in spinach, onion, mushrooms, cheese in the plate.Beat the remaining ingredients until smooth(about 1 minute by hand, 15 seconds in blender at high speed).Pour into plate. Bake until golden brown and knife comes out clean, about 30 minutes.Let stand 5 minutes. Serve. Enjoy! Let me know how you liked it. Sincerely, ~Dancing with waves~
