Posted: 11/4/2009 12:48:13 PM | Oh wow! I was with you until I got to the first date idea. That threw me off!
Firstly, I believe the first date section should be used for just that--it is a way to show women a little more of who you are in an indirect way. Show them how romantic/crazy/fun you can be. It doesn't mean you actually have to do it, but it shows a bit more of you.
Secondly, I felt like I was going to have to work to get the info that you put there. Most people on this site like reading solid, well-assembled paragraphs. If you make short little bursts like that, you won't keep our attention--we've got so many other fishies to look at. Truthfully, I clicked off of your profile the moment I got to that section. I didn't bother to read it.

When you actually do write something up for the "first date" then it could be something along the lines of what you could see yourself doing on a first date, whether its coffee, a movie or whatever. | |

Posted: 11/4/2009 3:04:01 PM | Hi Nate….Not sure why you decided to put the random stuff in the 1st date, but it doesn’t work. She’s all romantic and wondering what wonderful 1st date ideas are gonna be there and lo’ and behold…you’re talking about YOU. Big disappointment to her…and you don’t want to disappoint the lady.
A few more suggestions.
1) Take the good specifics from that section and incorporate them in the About Me Section. Talk more about your job…what you “procure/buy” ? Do you like it?
2) Change your “I’ve always secretly wanted to be ‘that couple’ on the dance floor” into something that involves HER.
3) Such as…Have you always wanted to secretly be ‘that couple’ on the dance floor? Me, too!
4) Then you can pick up the dance thread after the “show me around sentence”.
5) REWORK the “someone to show me around” (sounds like you don’t care who shows you around).
6) Instead, put something like…”We can explore the city together and keep our eyes open for a Dance Studio that teaches salsa dancing.”
7) Nix the ‘open mind, willing to try new stuff, gets dressed up and down’ lines. Every other guy has those in his profile. Instead…what do you mean by an open mind, and new stuff? Give her some specifics so she knows if she fits what you’re looking for.
8) Nix the “Wild dreams”…too much info too soon. She might think you mean you’re gonna quit your new, amazing job and live in the wilderness for a year or two. She wants a man with both feet on this ground….even if his head is in the clouds on occasion.
9) Instead of just a wine lounge or bar…describe the setting to her….cozy wine lounge with a huge roaring fireplace? Cool and steely and modern tapas bar? Big, cozy chairs with the best seafood happy hour? Let her see it and taste it. Involving ALL the senses helps.

Gonna have to wait ill I'm home before I can adjust contrast on my photos too...

I played with the contrast on most of my pictures and that helped too. I'll work on getting some new ones that I can rotate in with the others. Thanks again.
Still open to input if anyone has suggestions or ideas to further polish this...
