| Money or Wisdom, which do you prefer ? Posted: 11/5/2009 7:38:49 AM | If you had the choice of spending the rest of your life with a someone that's rich, and would buy you anything you want, take you anywhere you want to go and you never had to work another day in your life....but is as boring as a rock !
Or someone that earns a modest living, their favorite restaurant is Sizzler...... but they keep you laughing, and life is always interesting with them .
Which would you choose !

| Money or Wisdom, which do you prefer ? Posted: 11/5/2009 7:42:39 AM | The latter of course!
Life is rich when you are content and can be happy with just a modest means of living.
**If money is the solvent to all our problems then just look at how many stars check themselves into rehab. That should give you an idea.

| Money or Wisdom, which do you prefer ? Posted: 11/5/2009 8:19:33 AM | OP: I would take the latter.
I have had chances to be a "PRINCESS", and have no desire what so ever to "milk" a man for his financial wealth. I will continue to pass until I meet the man that will be my partner in crime.

| Money or Wisdom, which do you prefer ? Posted: 11/5/2009 8:24:07 AM | And where does the wisdom come into play? After all, your title was money or wisdom.
Is the rich guy hot? I would only spend the rest of y life with someone with whom I was in love with. If it was a rich, boring guy - then so be it (though I doubt I'd fall for him). I did fall in love with a man of modest means when I met my hubby and again with the ex-bf. I was happy and that's all that counts. Being rich is not everything its cracked up to be, though just once Id like to live like Oprah-like that's ever going to happen.

| Money or Wisdom, which do you prefer ? Posted: 11/5/2009 8:47:12 AM | Wisdom is a matter of opinion ! Often, people don't recognize wisdom immediately !
Opp's.....I think I just gave you some wisdom...hehe !

Is the rich guy hot?
That was what I thought when I read that thread.
If he is just boring at least he has the money to buy me stuff to keep me entertained. I have a multitude of hobbies that could keep me entertained for a lifetime. I could deal with a rich man who is boring as a knob; that is if that was the only problem. I would appreciate the comforts and lifestyle he could give me.
But if there is no love or trust then it wouldn't work. I have also had opportunities to be with multimillionaires/billionaires. However attraction, love and trust were just not there. So Money is not everything. It definitely cannot buy happiness or trust.
However not having enough money also causes numerous problems as well.

| Money or Wisdom, which do you prefer ? Posted: 11/5/2009 9:05:48 AM | Wisdom, hands down. Not all women want to meet a man and stop working - some of us like work.
I love money, unless I'm not the one who's making it. It has to be mine in order for it to be exciting. Same with stuff - if I can't buy it for myself, I don't want it.

| Money or Wisdom, which do you prefer ? Posted: 11/5/2009 9:32:44 AM | Give me steak!!!Lots of steak..not sizzler though..Outback if it must be a chain. I don't HAVE to work now, just like the extras it brings in, like FOOD
You know the answer to this manwich..wheres the passion in the equation?
I have had chances to be a "PRINCESS", and have no desire what so ever to "milk" a man for his financial wealth. I will continue to pass until I meet the man that will be my partner in crime. Yup!!!

| Money or Wisdom, which do you prefer ? Posted: 11/5/2009 9:34:47 AM | Given that you are neither, how does the answer affect you? Sorry, had to do it!
OP, I've read your posts... your views towards women are toxic, count yourself lucky if a woman likes you for your money b/c honest I can't see a sane one being into you the way you present yourself on here most of the time (if that is how you act when not behind a anonymous screen name).

| Money or Wisdom, which do you prefer ? Posted: 11/5/2009 12:57:04 PM | Wait, I'm confused. First, you ask rich or wise, and then you equate it to rich or entertaining. In my experience, wise guys can be unbelievably boring, while those who are entertaining can lack in wisdom.
You made your first exmple rather extreme - boring as a rock but rich. You made your second example less extreme. Let's make it more extreme to be fair - poor as a church rat but very charismatic. Or let's make both examples less extreme.
Anyway, if you're asking what do I pick - money without personality or personality without money - I say neither. That must be why I'm single.

| Money or Wisdom, which do you prefer ? Posted: 11/5/2009 1:08:21 PM | Sitting around Sizzler laughing at life doesn't appeal. Even the dudes in "Wayne's World" did more than that. I'd go for the money. You're assuming money means pretending I'm Paris Hilton (boring as a rock!)-- shopping and lunching all day.
With money, I could rather travel, further my education, pursue hobbies, do philanthropic and charity work, have funds available to promote causes, start scholarships, and make a difference in the world. I don't have a need to be "kept laughing".

| Money or Wisdom, which do you prefer ? Posted: 11/5/2009 2:04:22 PM | Oh, Puh-leeze, stupid question.
The two are not mutually exclusive, esp. if you choose wisdom.
#1, folk with wisdom don't sit around pondering their navels, they are out doing things.
#2, one of the things they can and may be doing is earning a living.
#3, your first choice is not even an option for me as my ability to do nothing is close to nil, which for me is one of the hallmarks of wisdom.
So, I guess I would choose your second option.
This question goes back thousands of years.
God asked Solomon what he wanted and S responded, "Wisdom." How can I, fool that I am, make a better choice than Solomon.
