| Newbie review please Posted: 11/5/2009 10:31:51 AM | Welcome to Internet dating.
You’ve got a good start, but some changes are needed.
First things first, I should just say I'm out of the UK at the moment, working in the Falkland Islands. - How long are you going to be there? Do you just want an e-mail friend for now?
I'm a complete petrol head and love to tinker with engines and go to track days. - You may want to tone this down. Women aren't going to be interested in a "petrol head". Focus on the interests that a woman may share.
Feel free to ask about anything you like, from my favorite colour to how often I trim my toe nails. - Delete. Women already know to contact you if they are interested.
Break your text up into logically organized paragraphs.
Tell us about your goals and objectives in life. Do you plan to stay in the RAF? Do you want to settle down and start a family?
Write a pargraph about the woman you'd like to meet. Would she be a stay at home mom? a working girl? quiet? shy? gregarious? outgoing? athletic? adventurous? intelligent? ambitious? family oriented?

I agree with the previous poster - what are you looking for, where, and why? I think if you try a bit harder, your results will be a bit better. Smart of you to post for review, smarter still if you take the advice.
Good luck! | |
