| Like A Kite

I wish to spread my wings and fly but also wish to be like a kite
One were you let out the string the kite starts to catch the wind
it flies around but unevenly unsteady
The one holding the string guides the kite
knowing when to release string and let the kite catch the wind
allowing it to fly to and fro and glide
catching the right breeze and it soars !
You can appreciate the beauty of that spirit flying free
But if the wind picks up the kite has no direction
or if the wind subsides the kite could crash to the ground
So your steady hand knows when to tug the string and bring the kite back to earth
and when to release more string and more then let it soar!
It is the one who holds the strings that learns when to release
and when to bring it back with a gentle tug
I want that to fly to soar but feel that gentle tug that brings me safely back to earth
That balance
