Posted: 11/6/2009 4:28:35 PM | Your whole first paragraph is negative...I would scrap the whole thing and start over.
The first paragraph should be about who you are...what makes you special? Tell your readers why you are more than a pretty face (although I'm not sure it's your face they are looking at in the pics:)
You're a beautiful woman, but it does read a little harsh. JMO. | |

Posted: 11/6/2009 4:33:04 PM | Clearly you've had a lot of jerks contacting you. Not all the guys here are jerks. Unfortunately, your profile is chasing off every guy that reads a profile - right now all you're getting are the guys that go strictly by pics.
Learn to use the delete button; make a real profile; reply to the guys worth replying to. | |

You really need to look at the profile writing tips at the top of the first page.

Posted: 11/6/2009 11:26:23 PM | | So I took into consideration the feed back I got and rewrote my profile closer to what it resembled before getting frusted with the kind of emails I was receiving. There is not much I can do about the way I look and as such my pics are what they are. I am just someone who is comfortable with who I but there is a lot more to me once you get past the photos. As for my age preferences it's just me and I know what I like. I am very young at heart but am always open to anyone that wants to contact me. If there is something in common then we can go from there. | |

Posted: 11/7/2009 6:27:36 AM | planher1, Your profile rewrite is a good, though a tad bit long. Save some of those facts for the 2nd and 3rd emails, some mystery is good, ya know? The "everything but the kitchen sink" type of profile is so dreary to plod through. You probably are looking for a specific type of man based your email restrictions so why not write one for him?
But the big thing and the point of my is post is this: there is a mixed message between your photos and the paragraphs. You say you're a down home "girl next door" type, the vibes the pictures give off are: I'm a fun, glam Mariah Carey-look alike that just wants to party... They are all indoors seemingly at night at clubs and bars, you need to have some outdoor shots of you doing some of other activites that you like. One or two glam shots are ok, but if you want to attract quality and not the playas, you've got to have a better mix of photos. The one photo I would make private is the midriff baring one, it's as questionable as the shirtless picture that a lot of guys put up. Save that for someone who's really interested in getting to know you better. Guys will not get past the pix, you're smart enough to believe otherwise. Just sayin'... Good luck! | |
