Putting a Pic on Profile

Hi Guys, I'm new to Plenty of Fish and so far I have found the members to be good. Haven't dated yet but would like some help on the following. Is it possible to put a pic on that can only be viewed by those members I contact.
In the images option theres two options and perhaps the private image is the one for me. Can anyone help? Thanks.

As am new to this, you're welcome to put a response straight to my in box. Might be easier for me ! Ta

upload an image.

next to the newly uploaded image un-click the box to the right that puts it on your profile.

You can email it at your discretion.

But since you're a guy, you're not going to have much luck without it posted for all to see.

Got a question again. Whats the difference between the "show on profile" option and "private image " option.

Is the private image option the one that just shows my image to those i contact only. also looked at the check boxes you mentioned but not quite clear on what to do there.

In short - I would like to email my pic at my discretion to those females I contact. Does that make sense . I hope so! Amin

Then you want to click on private image. That means it will NOT show on your profile, but is available for you to send to people you email. Good luck.

Think I got it Pam.

Upload a pic. There are two options:
"Show On Profile" and "Private Image" - Go For "Private Image" !!
My pic will then only show on my responses to other members but will not be shown on my main profile. Right?

I hope thats right and thanks for your help. Amin

Dude, I don't think you'll get a lot of responses back without a public pix in your profile... Even if you send them to a prospect, and she checks your profile, she'll most likely think it's either not you, a 10+ years or older pic, or that you've got something to hide, like a wife or gf on the side. Means "undatable" and delete. Private means exactly that you'll always have access to them to attach to an email but it will never, ever show up in your profile, even to people you contact... The system is not that smart, you do realize this is a FREE dating site?? Profiles of men without profile pictures give off that "DL" vibe to women, unless you're looking for that type of woman, this is not exactly the best site for it. Craigslist would be better... Just my two cents since you're a newbie here, and want to know the score about how this all works. Good luck.

Amin,

You have to attach your image to emails. Don't use the new "quick reply" feature, scroll to the bottom of a person's profile and select to send an email. Then at the bottom of the email you can attach your image.

But really, you are going to be less successful without a pic up.

So now you have main photo posted (yes, you are pretty cute!) but one with a flashy smile would be killer. You can also delete the last paragraph now that says you don't have any photos posted.

You read as an intelligent, energetic guy - I'd challenge you to describe a couple more of the activities you like to do (love the image of the country inn/log fires) to flesh out your personality.

Where you're describing the type of lady you'd like to meet, add a couple more pieces of the puzzle. What other personality traits are important to you? Don't just list them, give examples. My all-time favourite line from a profile is: "... someone who will smack my ass as she's walking by me while I'm doing the dishes." I just love that image.
