and blamed it on her heart
mistakes she made more and more
gradually falling apart
she searched at last her zodiac
the moon, the stars
she delved into the almanac
psychics and tarot cards
still she made erroneous errors
blunders and missteps
unceremonious failures
heartbreak, regret
then she stumbled upon an anatomy book
and finally saw the light
no more gibberish and gobbledygook
this time she had it right
the heart is JUST a muscle
it's job, to pump the blood
the brain is for the mental tussles
it should make the decisions on love
now she's a better woman
and that's just common sense
a thing that's not so common
