To all who feel the mass emails for POF partys are harassment please note you can change your settings to stop them,Having been a host and co host of these party's it amazes me at how many times people send nasty emails back or report it as harassment please just change your setting and the emails will stop!!!!

Well, I have nothing set that prevents them, yet I get zero. Is there a distance thing?

I am with you Gene!!!! Especially the young guys who think that I am hitting on them when they get the email. Yes there is a distance also with them. I think 10 miles from the site of the party zip code.

Ya know, I don't mind the people who decide to err on the side of politeness, and send their regrets if they don't think they can attend. It isn't necessary, but it is nice to see there are thoughtful people out there.

It helps temper my mood after opening email after email of short jabs, rude rejections, and of course, my personal favorites, the ones who reply to tell you that you screwed up, and you can see the answer to their "question" right there in the quoted text above their message.

If I could, I'd fix it so they couldn't simply hit "reply" to answer the party announcements, but had to send questions to another host or post them on the thread, I believe this would cut out a lot of the confusion.

The answer to that is YES,if you only seen some of the returned emails hosts and co hosts get.

lol.. i like to drink sometimes.. :))

but... the fact is.. party planners do it for free...

and being mean..or telling them they chose the wrong place to have it is rude.

Even if i throw a picnic.. someone will break out some booze.. :))

Hopefully people will figure out the settings..or ignore the mass emails when the venue or type of party is not to thier liking.
