Not only are the "hotties" dysfunctional in this way, but the rest of us mere normals are just as broken, in a different way:
See, humans have this inexplicable programming malfunction that compels them to curry favor with "pretty people". It is not just sexual--it happens in corporate life. How many CEO jokes are out there about executive hair? Harvard Business College even actually believe that genetics make up leadership.
Also, many "pretty people" possess this charismatic factor that draws people to them.
Even that cartoon "The Family Guy" had an epsode about this--the best one-liner, "pretty people don't wait in line".
There is this rather dreadful 'B' movie with David Carradine (Kung-Fu guy), called "Circle of Iron". In the film there is a scene where Carradine's character travels into a village with his fellow traveler. There is a crowd of normal people surrounding a beatiful adolescent boy, and all of the people of the village are showering him with gifts. Carradine's character makes his way to the kid, and the kid asks him, "what gift have you brought me?" Carradine's character breaks the kid's nose. As they are leaving, his fellow traveler asks him, "why did you do that?" Carradine's answer is, "He would have grown to be a tyrant".
Obviously, this movie was produced in a different time, with different social rules than we have today, but the message is timeless. Pretty people can be self-centered, thoughtless, mean, and often recieve unfair social, political, and carreer advantages rooted in their looks.
But here's the kicker--they are that way because we (us normals) have culpability in making them that way, and allowing them to continue to be that way. | |

'hot' is what you make of it, so if you go around saying i think that guy is hot because of his flesh, hes going to think your a sick animal looking for a hunk of meat, so he treats you bluntly, yes even rudly, to try to help you learn to be less like 'why are hot guys so mean when i label them 'hot'?'
you shouldnt label people... and you shouldnt worry about hot guys, dont be an idiot.
i cant say im hot, because thats stupid. but, not all women run from me and not all infants cry at the sight of me... but, i can be mean (its just an 'act' a way to try to teach you to improve your ideas and thinking) as soon as i want to be.. cause im sick of idiot females that talk the talk and then when it comes down to it, you find out they really are most interested in 'the goods' not what really matters, long after the 'hot'ness is rotting in a grave.
also, i see some women that think they are 'ugly' or undesireable and they try to throw themselves at a 'hot' guy because, for some reason other guys will start to notice her once they see a 'hot' guy is interested in her (probably because they figure she must be good in the hay to make up for all the warts and scars) so... i have ideas about why and what this means, but i wont get in to that today

All they care about is having some nice eye candy hanging off an arm when they go out, and they treat women more like an apparel or accessory.
That's why I keep saying, looks only last until the mouth opens. And yes, every once in a while you find an attractive woman (or man, for the ladies) who isn't like this. Cheers to the nice ones. | |

For me, it's a total turn off... a guy knowing he's good looking, and is completely arrogant. I like guys that know they're good looking, but don't stare in the mirror all the time. I'll give you some examples of what I've had happen: lol.
1) I was dating two of my best friends at the same time. The hotter one wasn't the c*cky one. The other would constantly tell me he was better looking than his best friend and all this. It turned me off..
2) This unbelievably hot guy I used to work with: found out later that he hardly ever showers, brags constantly about the women he sleeps with, keeps gel in his hair for days at a time.. Then he wondered why he couldn't get in my pants.. :p
They may be hot, but once they open their mouths and you get to know them, they're not all that great. Not all hot guys are like this. I have a few really hot guy friends who are c*cky, but funny c*cky.. They know they're good looking, but they don't go on and on about it. lol.. I hope I made some sense in this post.  | |

It only means the ones you have met have prlly had a bad day or just have their own bs in their lives they are dealing with and they are just taking it out on anything. Reframe your mind and tell yourself that because a few attractive****eads were the way they were doesnt mean all of them are that way, and just think of the positives instead of the negatives!
... And attractive woman with shitty attitudes crack me up, and personally dont interest me

Posted: 7/13/2005 2:45:37 AM | well, if they're mean, you don't want them anyway, so its a blessing, that you can MOVE ON, and find someone who is nice on the inside. They say people who make it big in things like show business are often very nice, on the OUTSIDE and the INSIDE. These female HOTTIES and HOT MEAN GUYS will meet their match and get it in the end, because I believe there is an ultimate scale we are judged against in a spiritual way, so, someday, something will happen to them, and maybe they'll learn, maybe not.
A friend of mine was set up with a blind date, and he met her and figured, well, just another waste of time, as he didn't find her attractive, but, he ended up marrying her, and, she has such a nice warm caring glow about her, you can't help but feel good, I guess, its a universal intelligence kind of thing.
Anyway, if you're not hurt to badly by these mean people, heal, and move on and find some REAL LOVE !! Its out there ......... sometimes disguised.
