If I was Santa I would laugh HO HO HO in their faces..swig back a mulled no alcohol totty and do wheelie on the roof tops of opinion. He's our hero..

He was always Father Christmas when I was a kid.........
as for Coke deciding to make him red, that's a bit of an urban myth - although they did use him in an ad campaign in the 30's
According to the BBC the colours are widely thought to derive from the original Saint Nicholas, who was the Bishop of Myra in the 4th Century. Red and white were the hues of traditional bishop robes, although some historians argue that he originally dressed in different colours | |
