Having the hair there can actually cause smells and so forth because the hair traps it in. My gyno went through the health bennefits of it with me (even though I already was shaving because I just don't like the hair lol).
Wanting a clean shaven woman does not make you a pedophile and if that is what she thinks, then maybe she needs to talk to someone about her issues? To each their own I guess. | |

I love a woman that is completely shaven. And let me tell you, I would not even date anybody that is under 21. That is as ridiculous as applying the same principles to blonds. Most natural blonds have their hair turn darker by the time they are 18, unless they are from the scandinavian countries. So does liking a blond means you want that? Not really.
So shave away.

The skin irritation usually comes from using a dull razor, shaving against the grain or not giving your skin enough chance to get used to a blade.
-Show her a porno flick made after 1990 -you won't see a hair in the whole bunch.
Some religions throughout the world practice shaving the lower region, and have been practicing it since the dawn of civilization.
The fact that she's bring up pedophilia makes me wonder if she doesn't have molesting issues from the past. -i would certainly think most people (without issues or sexual hang ups) can discern the difference between a grown woman and a child. -anyone who thinks about children and sex needs professional help..
Try at least getting her to trim, landing strip etc. much better than dealing with a tumbleweed or messy landscape... | |

It's a tough area to keep shaved, razor irritation and ingrown hairs are just plain nasty and I don't have a hygiene problem. Then again, mines pretty sparse so a light trim is all I generally bother with. While I don't think only pedophiles are attracted to shaved genitalia, I personally find shaved genitalia--on men or women--creepy, purely because they do look preadolescent at that point. For me it's an absolute turnoff. While I understand intellectually how/why it is a turn on for others, emotionally it just seems weird. Like watching someone eat over cooked okra. Yech! | |

OP.....you can only tell her your preferences.....and ask if she is willing to compromise.....shave on bottom w/ a landing strip.
Tell her you can make it a sensual experience w/ you doing the shaving!!
If she refuses......you have to drop it.
Badgering her will make her think you don't find her appealing.....and that's a no win situation all the way around!

Nothing serious, but most of the time with misconceptions like this, it might stem from self esteem issues. Maybe the same way that a girl who is perfectly normal and ideal weight can still "see" herself as fat, even though to others she looks great. Of course I realize the false perception discussed here, is completly different.
From a mental viewpoint, clean shaven does not have to equate to having an unhealthy attraction to minors. You, the OP, know thats definitly not the case, but you need to be honest with her and find a way to convince her that that is not the case. I don't know what to tell you to do to achieve this, as I don't know the woman, none of us here do. But I think honesty is needed. Intimacy should be fun for both involved, so both should give towards that. Appologies for rambling on. | |

You'll be flattering her and appealing to her vanity, which would likely come off much better than trying to trick or out-argue her.
edit to add: You should also offer to do something for her in return, relationships are built on compromise. If you're lucky she'll have you fulfill some kinky fantasy of hers, if you're not so lucky you'll be doing her laundry or something. | |

Trying to get people to change who they are and how they roll to suit YOU is just the height of selfish. You accept the whole package or you don't.
