| | Date ideas in DublinPage 1 of 1 | Well, what ideas have people had for dates in Dublin, beyond meeting for drinks or coffee?
Cafe Bar Deli on Georges street is a nice place for a bite. Dundrum cinema has a VIP section where you get a big chair and a table and the price includes popcorn and a drink. Ive heard of people going to the zoo as well. What other ideas have people had?

Maybe he meant the Dáil?
Oh I have an idea..the science museum have an exhibition running currently specially to coincide with Valentine's day - I think you can go in and find out how attractive you are to the opposite sex and who is your type all through scientific methods.
That place is a good laugh actually - right across the road from Pearse St. Dart station and just behind Trinity college.

| Date ideas in Dublin Posted: 2/10/2010 5:54:46 AM | Jesus! What if they told me I have a face like a melted welly!? I just dont think I could handle that type of rejection! Having science tell me I look like a rhino's arse could put me on a bit of a downer.
I just thought this thread could be interesting because people could post up some of the more interesting ideas beyond the normal restaurant, pub or cinema.

| Date ideas in Dublin Posted: 2/14/2010 2:49:33 PM | | Seriously, the first date you want to be able to talk to the person to get to know them a bit...so somewhere with food and drinks is good. Cinema, theatre etc for later dates. Oh, and pet hate - do NOT get drunk! It's a big turnoff for a first date! And not lunch; in my profession I can't take a long lunch - often don't have a lunch hour - so it'd be too rushed. Even at weekends, I tend to have busy days...the evening is easier for getting to know someone. | |
