I'm assuming the thread got too big & therefore was problematic, so for all fans of the 8 Line Stanza thread here goes a new beginning...
When the sun rises & things awaken Life in full flow - never mistaken For things will flourish While good will nourish And bad will stain like mud on a window-pane But the dirt will be removed by the coming of the rain Sparkling & shimmering things look as good as new While embarking on a voyage of discovery finding each new clue

| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/3/2010 4:21:41 AM | While embarking on a voyage of discovery finding each new clue Many a pof user finds great joy in discovering something new Sometimes a door or window that's apparently vanished In fact serves well to remind us we could always be banished Fish are quick to adjust, elongate or shrink, Adapt or die brings our environment to the brink Of disaster, will it bounce back or just disappear? The next world will welcome those who search and dare. | |

| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/3/2010 3:34:04 PM | ( No, it was deleted~ For Thorb~) those who search and dare always really care and happiness wear with lots of flare they never stare in the eye of despair and love the bare truth so rare | |
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/4/2010 9:07:31 AM | truth so rare,.. so hard to find yet omnivorous, takes all kinds the kind you think don't lie do the kind you think do lie, always tell the trueth alas a true love I ve finally found it! had it all the time,.. I was lookin around it came together now past we both knew it wouldnt last | |
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/5/2010 1:45:06 AM | We both knew it wouldnt last Slowly faded away Black & white to shades of grey Something old now outcast Nothing lasts forever Not on this mortal earth But things may die then be re-born A spiritual rebirth | |
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/5/2010 8:45:35 PM | A spiritual rebirth, arise from the gloom, shut the door behind you when you leave the room. I don’t want to hear you scurrying around, rev up that car’s engine when its keys are found.
Get in and drive like hell from fear of crying, if I said I loved you still, I’d be lying. The ten-year gig was okay while it survived, during the past few years our love was contrived.

| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/7/2010 6:06:28 PM | The big Annual Leave, I’ll spend my time with Steve. He’s a good friend of mine, we’ll sit, talk and sip wine.
When the big leave is done, we will have had some fun. More than friends, we can’t be, he’s not like you, to me.
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/7/2010 6:29:23 PM | He’s not like you, to me, have our men been set free? Thorb and Rasko aren’t here, I find this a bit queer.
Knight is doing just fine, did others cross the line? Bring them back, I do plead, testosterone we need!
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/7/2010 7:31:46 PM | testosterone we need who has gone and done the deed has thrown the balance out of whack has throw this peace train off the track
the slap on the hand turns into the boot the boot for the tougher, the slap for the cute soon the threads will be woven by those in the harem gone those rough edges, gone any who scare them
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/8/2010 6:21:52 AM | Gone those rough edges, gone any who scare them For they won't suffer fools gladly - those who care for them Will end up with fool's gold - nothing of use No substance other than the illegal substance abuse A smile & a pat on the backside but not anything real The lotharios will do what it takes to cop a sly feel But they'll lose out for when dishing the raw deal They'll be reaping their own karma while victims will heal | |
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/10/2010 2:38:23 AM | they'll be reaping their own karma while victims will heal here's a ripe one...lets thresh it.. and put it out to dry..do you think it will improve? or claim an unhappy upbringing,, a broken home..unable to make a conscience decision over right and wrong.. they're all karma chamelions beware the warning tongue | |
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/10/2010 8:14:30 AM | beware the warning tongue though many do not listen, if parables they speak the truth will glow and glisten, take the time to learn for in the story is told, many great life lessons back from the days of old | |

| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/11/2010 7:25:41 AM | Late, Late Late the story of my life. Hello world Happy FRIDAY!!!!!
set sail, got away before they knew made off like madeoff, or so I thought it seems only to find them waitin on the other side of stream they money they made me take it back, they said of substance I do lack the love of money it got to me horrid handcuffs, no where to flee
and the eyes can be watching and bait us deep and dark, almost like the shark they lust they look, they stare, at times glare, wanting to be me or eyes on that wall, awaiting to see which way Ill fall. Batting, baggy, and blinkin some with even pink in, awaiting the sinkin the ship that never sinks, the wave that never crashes stares at the shark with the long eyelashes
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/12/2010 3:28:50 AM | Stares at the shark with the long eyelashes While the shark remains collected it's prey thrashes Oceans apart marks the depths of their heart The shark's heart is shallow & it's crop reaped is fallow Always hungry & pitifully empty inside Where discontentment continually will reside Seeking it's next victim - always needing more So it can temporarily escape from what darkens it's door | |
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/12/2010 2:32:41 PM | So it can't temporarily escape from what darkens it's door searching from top to bottom looking for next score why just last week the pet shark swallowed the man whole and here he thought he had a friend, good as gold what is it with the sharks ands snakes, yesterday boa decided to constrict the owner, a friendly snake I don't know of they are lame they can't be train best looked at behind the glass least you know then they won't be eating your ass... | |
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/12/2010 3:49:44 PM | least you know then they won't be eating your ass if you go into the arena with a full tank of gas come armed, stay alert, be prepared if you want to win have your t's crossed and i's dotted on your spin don't allow yourself to go in half-c0cked lest you enjoy having life's door always locked you don't need to live life as a militant but do be aware, flexible and observant | |
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/12/2010 8:20:05 PM | Do be aware, flexible and observant And for fear of seeming simple Please don’t refrain from Stipulating to the incredibly obvious
For as a wise man noted, “Dumb questions concern things so obvious We should be embarrassed even to speak of them. Sometimes though, they poke holes in thin spots in what we thought true Allowing new light to shine in on what we had forgotten.”
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/12/2010 11:57:48 PM | allowing the new light to shine in on what we have forgotten our inner child is born again rising from the ashes of yesterdays campfires into the play ground of adult tomorrows embrace the care free journey remember what it is to lead without followers and follow only what your heart decides it is what we all wish to do more often | |
| 8 Line Poetry Stanzas - Use Last Line 4 First Line Posted: 6/13/2010 7:07:26 AM | it is what we all wish to do more often float on joyous laughter rising above the endless grief and terror it's peace we're really after we rise above each day's ominous reports and try to enjoy any moment our brains can let go of thoughts of disaster and nap in contentment | |
