Actually yhe only thing you are doing wrong is expecting too much. You can't come to these places and expect they will look you up and start up with ya. You have to do just as much work online as you do IRL and even then all you are going to get is a reply to an email. (That they will probably stop responding to after one or two times)
Focus on the forums and such to get yourself known. I've noticed you have like no posts in the forums and that helps a lot. If people can read your threads and questions and how you respond to people they begin to feel like they know you and are more apt to respond.
So write lots of emails and post lots in the forums. And try not to expect too much, afterall, this is our fake world not the real one and so things that happen here often don't flow over into our real lives, even if the wisdom we get here does.

Your profile looks fine and I think that you will find that special someone, it just takes patience, I know that sucks, but it's the truth. Just open up, sling a few lines of sh*t around... open up and be yourself. Find a topic your comfortable with on here and build a repor with someone, then let it go where it may...
