Although the party in our own private room officially ends at 1.00 am, attendees can remain in the club until it closes around 2 hours later. Wherever possible, PLEASE arrive before 9.30 pm.
Strictly over 18s only. Please carry appropriate ID if you’re fortunate enough to look under 25.
DRESS CODE: Minimum club dress code is smart/casual, or WEAR SOMETHING SMART or ELEGANT, or appropriate fancy dress and you could win a Champagne prize along with the best male and female dancers of the evening. Don’t forget folks, this is an early Valentine celebration so I’ll expect to see plenty of ladies in romantic red or pink and at least a few chaps wearing roses or carnations. :-)

My first event of 2011 is now up and running in the form of this early celebration of Valentine’s day. That’s right folks, by attending this party on the evening of Friday the 11th, there’s enough time for many partygoers to rub shoulders with their secret valentines and perhaps make a date for the special day. Either way, cupid’s sure to be firing his arrows nice an early in a room full of mostly single people of mixed ages. 
But even if you’re not lucky enough to be shot through the heart by the loved up little cherub on the 11th, you’re still almost guaranteed to make loads of new friends and acquaintances for your efforts to mingle and be sociable with many likeminded people.  In this respect, every one of these events is a success for attendees willing to brave the apprehension they might understandably feel about coming along initially. 
So, by all means, feel free to dust off those Christmas cobwebs and come and party with some of the most friendly and approachable people you could possibly meet anywhere in the UK, at least in my experience. 
As always, there’ll be champagne prizes galore up for grabs for the best dancers and best dressed partygoers of the evening. And don’t forget folks, as this is an early Valentine celebration, I’ll expect to see plenty of ladies in romantic red or pink and at least a few chaps wearing roses or carnations (although I won’t be one of ‘em, just in case anyone has any ideas).

As I’m sure you’ll both appreciate, as with all other forms of socialising, we obviously only get from these things what we’re prepared to invest in terms of our own efforts to mingle and chat with at least a few other partygoers. Rest assured that most attendees at my events are friendly and approachable, so there are no worries there ladies.

Posted: 1/18/2011 12:19:32 PM | Indeed skycladstar, it does appear as though we’re going to see a good few in attendance come Friday the 11th of February – especially considering I already have another 39 guests to add to the 98 members having currently and promptly signed up in message No.1 above. With over three-weeks to go until party time, that’s a really terrific early response, which goes to show just how unpredictable reactions to these party promo threads can be.
All we can be relatively sure of is that most who do actually turn up on the night should have an enjoyable time making new friends and acquaintances and maybe even meeting someone special for their efforts to be sociable. Thanks for posting chap.

Apologies for my having just deleted your post by accident. Not sure why you're confused, but let me assure you and all others that you DO NOT need a ticket to gain entry and no attendee will be turned away no matter what time they arrive or how far they travel.
On arrival, simply tell the door staff you're there for the 'Singles Party' and you and any number of guests you might bring will gain free access to our private event for the duration of the event.
As a bonus, those members and guests who turn up in the first half-hour, between 9.00 pm and 9.30 pm, will each receive a free drink for their efforts to arrive and get the party started in good time. As I say though, no matter at what time members and guests arrive, entry to this party is FREE for everyone ALL evening. Hope this clarifies things for you and thanks for posting.
