Posted: 11/2/2004 10:12:02 AM | | Listen Im on this to try it out....I have met someone that i am really interested in but am so scared that he will cheat on me..Ive been burned before twice..first time I was engaged..and "IT JUST HAPPENED"...ya whatever...second time was with someone I thought was the one..then I found him in bed with my best friend..Am I destined to be with cheaters?I just really hope that I can overcome this fear so I dont F*ck up what could possibly be "the one"...anyways just wanted to blab..anyone have any advise for me? | |

I know exactly where you are coming from, KissMe.. Except I'm the guy with the broken heart. I've been burned 3 times in the past two years by my fiancee, *girlfriend at the time of her cheating on me* She is my best friend, known her since 1st grade, and now we are dating. She went two years without cheating on me, and I thought she was taking me seriously now. She even accepted my proposel. Now, just a week ago, I've found out by her that she's cheating on me again with a co-worker, WHO KNOWS she is engaged. He played with her mind when she was in her state of depression. Same case senario on the other three times. She told me how they have done everything BUT sleep together... How can I trust her anymore? She lied to me about this when I first had my suspicions by telling me she had no interest in him sexually...
What's the worst part? I don't know whether or not to leave her. I can't really picture myself with anyone else. This sucks! | |

I have been on both sides of the fence on this matter and all I can say is, it would be in the best interest of one who has recently experienced infidelity to take the next serious relationship slow, not only to avoid getting burned but to avoid penalizing the new love for the old love's wrong. | |

It's d*mn easy in other words. And that's a shame, cuz it cheapens sex. Perhaps they aren't getting what they want from their partner. But in that case, they should not cheat but talk to their partners about what they want. Frank discussions about sex are in order before you start believing that someone is 'the one'. Hmmm, if you want to avoid it, offer him a threesome with a friend or something; if he's into it, then he's not the guy you want (unless you're really into it too)..... bottom line: who knows?!!! | |

Boys live in a frame of mind that there always COULD be better out there. That the world is BIG place, and they are always trying to out do what they have...cars, clothes, and women. Boys cheat, because it's all they know HOW to do, and ultimately-not giving the love, attention and respect that a beautiful soul deserves. They don't know what they want, so they keep going.
Men live in a frame of mind of happiness, above all, is the key to a successful life. The world they live in is only as big as they make it-knowing what they want thus eliminating all the unnecessary crap in their lives. Men fight for what they truly want, facing all obsticals head on with an open heart and mind, insted of boys who cowardly try to remedy what they don't want by destroying it in the quickest, easiest way they know how...to cheat.
Men know a good thing when they find it-and wouldn't mess it up for the world....there needs to be more Men out there... | |

You are responsible for him, he is responsible you, aside from obviously each being responsible for themselves. Nothing new, nor much to be said here.
That means, if things appear to be going off the rails, you find out and remedy whatever it takes. If the other party takes on the same viewpoint, it's pretty tough to have it all go to pot.
Sometimes problems enter the fold which can tear away on any relationship. Problems at work, mother-in-laws that sit by the window all day looking for a reason to call the police, etc.
Beyond that its an integrity problem, which unfortunately is a b*tch to deal with. That's when you can safely start spinning the roulette wheel.
Staying in communication is still the very best shield of protection anyone has.
It takes work, and if either party is not willing to to pitch in, it will inevitably go by the boards in due time. | |

With the body type that you have at least of what you show of it, who in his right mind would run around having someone so cute as you to share his bed? Could it be that you perhaps flirt and lead men to think that your flirting is leading in other directions and so they say to themselves, screw this, if she can do it, me too? Maybe too, and I don't mean this as an insult, but maybe you don't do it for your men in the bedroom. I've been on both sides of the fence like another of the writers who responded to this thread, if a man isn't getting enough at home he will for sure wander around. If what he's getting at home doesn't please him he will look for a woman who can do just that.
I have two married friends, and when they argue, she cuts him off sex, a bad thing to do because now when she does it, he goes and see's an old girlfriend who DOES know he's married but doesn't like his wife and if I think you're cute, well I can't even start to tell you how beautiful this woman is, it's just that she has life all mixed up. Instead of cutting him off of sex she should sit down with the guy and work things out as he isn't the brightest and what if he comes home with Aids or something else. If I were you, I'd ask myself what is it that you are missing in your relationships and if you find out, kindly let us know. | |

I wouldn't put it past a lot of people. Sometimes **stards only care about quanity. Or they get a thrill out of being dumbasses and hurting women.
One can only guess. You've got to find integrity to get away from that sort of thing.
