Click on the following
DELETE MY ACCOUNT
AND
FILL IN EVERY FIELD
It might be a good idea, for the ones having difficulty is that after you've gone through every step on the delete page and clicked on the Quit/Give Up/Delete My Account button that you then close your browser. Start your browser again and clear your cookies and temporary internet files and see if you can log back into POF.
If it doesn't work, and you're sure you've filled in every field - and you really don't want to be on the site, delete your images manually, change all your information to something very generic, even change the country location, hide your profile.
Email csr@pof.com and give them your screen name and ask to have it deleted, make sure to give them the right screen name if you've changed it, or best yet, give them the URL of the web page that your profile appears on. ensure to tell them that you've followed very step in the delete process.
Moderators do not have access to user accounts, hence we cannot delete them - eMail CSR here

What do you mean by either? - the person above you and the person above them, after following the instructions managed to delete themselves. You can tell because there is no "View Profile" link under their picture, or where there used to be one.
If you can't - follow the steps in the above yellow box in the first post!

Posted: 11/17/2012 3:39:37 PM | By virtue of the fact that you're posting here indicates you have not deleted your profile - try again and follow the additional steps added and see if it works. Staff will not respond quickly to these requests especially when there is no one there on the weekend.

Sort it out!
#1, it's not my web site, #2, look into the mirror if after 2 weeks and 6 log ins you've come to the conclusion that the site is shyte? ... with your obvious finishing school graces, did you expect them to line up at your door?

Posted: 1/7/2013 9:14:39 PM | Nice try, I wouldn't post anything if I hadn't already exhausted every idea I've had. I've done all the above steps, I even ran a cleaner, cleared my cache, cookies, temp files everything, closed browser, e-mailed CSR dozens of times and STILL the account won't delete.
Would you like to me to make a video of what I'm clicking on to show it doesn't work???? I've been trying for TWO YEARS to delete it. No one is listening and if others are having this difficulty then obviously something on the page is wrong. I sent numerous e-mails to crs@pof.com and sent e-mail through the "contact us" part of the site. No one ever replied in 2yrs. I guess they want to keep getting my mail. | |

I would follow these steps first
Log out of the forums using the logout link at the top right.
Shut your browser down completely to be sure because for some reason it won’t log me out of the forums anymore unless I shut my browser down completely.
Start your browser again
Log into your pof.com dating account
Click on the HELP link
Click on the Delete Account link
Click on the To delete your account CLICK HERE! (last line of options on that page)
Now make sure you fill in every field on that page and then click on the “Give Up” button at the bottom
Close your browser
Start your browser again
Come back to pof.com and see if you can log in to your dating account
... If you can, email csr@pof.com, and explain it's not working
... If not, happy fishing elsewhere

| FAQ : How To Delete Your / My Account
Posted: 4/9/2013 7:50:40 AM | No one here can delete you. No one here has access to your account. Not even the Moderators who mod the forums.
You have to do it for yourself.
Read Post 21 and follow the instructions carefully
Make sure you fill in every field, even if it means making up something to put in a field.
If it still doesn't work then all you can do is empty your profile so it no longer represents you, message Customer Support with your username and then don't return/sign back in to test it!
1. Remove any images.
2. Change your location.
3. Delete the interests.
4. Clear the about me section.
5. If you want, set up a throw away free e-mail address and direct your notifications to that junk account.
6. Block anyone on your Conversation bar.
7. Change your filters so only people over the age of 99 can make contact.
8. Hide your account.
9. Delete anyone on your Fav list or anyone who has added you as a fav.
10. Go away and stop checking the status of your account - if you did the above, it's not longer representing you anyway, you aren't seeing any notifications.
