$10 per person per day, camping or visiting includes the "PIG" on Saturday
Join us for a weekend of "FUN" and getting to know others from POF. If there's someone you've wanted to get to know, invite them. You don't have to camp to join in. Just come down for the day but it would be easier to camp.
Schedule:
Friday- camping and meeting new people. Bonfire in the evening
Saturday- camping games (see list). We're going to dress up as “HIPPIE’s" and vote for the best dressed male and female.
Games:
Volleyball
Touch football
Hula Hoop contest: Women’s and Men’s (this'll be worth coming down to see by itself, lol)
Corn hole tournament
Texas Holdem
(Suggested)
Slip-n-Slide (if it rains, lol)
Twister
Belly Dancing (yeah, I'm not sure I want to see the men doing this. lol)
-If you play a musical instrument (non-electric) and sing, bring it to JAM around the fire at night. Let us know by post or mail if you’re willing to play.
-This is an adult over 21 event.
- Dogs (behaved) are welcome, on a leash, just have a plastic bag ready and CLEAN up after them.
-The campground has requested cars be parked in the parking lot (next to the campground) if possible especially if just visiting. Motorcycles, campers and RV's used to sleep in are the exception.
-Alcoholic beverages need to be concealed (cup).
-PIG ROAST - Saturday pot luck, bring one dish, your beverage, plate, silverware and a chair.
-We need (if you have and would be willing to bring) lanterns, a volleyball set, corn hole sets and a football.
- If anyone has an idea how we can have some music (radio, CD’s, etc) please let us know in the post. Music, would love some MOTOWN, 60's - 70's and current music
-If anyone has any suggestion or ideas for games (that we can play as a group) or would be willing to help organize the games, please let us know. If you would like to dress up like a "HIPPIE’s” but are having problems coming up with ideas, post it on this event and people will help you with ideas.
VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!
-We'll need to have an accurate head count for this event so we'll have enough meat (it has to be ordered). Sign up if you're attending or contact one of the hosts with a head count of people who will be attending. This includes you and any guest(s).
-There is a maximum of 175 people that Boone’s Landing can accommodate so if we hit that number, they will have to start turning folks away.
This should be a lot of fun and you'll meet a lot of people here all looking to have fun also. If you have any questions speak up, you won't have fun unless you join in.
Look for the other POF events, they're a great way to have fun and meet new people.

I-75 north or south into Kentucky. Take exit I75 - Richwood/ Big Bone Lick State Park. Follow signs to Big Bone Lick State Park. Pass the park and take the first road on left (Boat Dock Rd). Follow to the end. You're there.

Posted: 8/28/2011 6:49:21 PM | Hey guys if your planning on coming sign up so we hit 20 people and then we can send out an E-mail blast so everyone know about it. We only need 5 more sign ups to hit 20. Does anyone have any suggestions for the event. Someone suggested a free love auction (goes with the 'HIPPIE" theme) buy someone for the night. I wonder if that could be considered soliciting, lol. Any other suggestions or comments to make this a lot of fun.

Hey it was just a suggestion for the event. Besides if we had an auction like that, you could put Darrel up for auction for the night, you probably wouldn't get much for him, hell you might even have to kick in some to get someone take him for the night, but then you could get a real man, lol. ha ha ha | |
