Does a good season individually help his chances of getting back into the NFL? Was he better off going to the AFL where at least he could have been on NFL Network?

All I know, is that he does seem to continue to be paying the price for deciding early in his career, to make himself famous for being an uncooperative, egotistical grandstander. My impression is that he wouldn't now be begging to get back in, had he behaved himself as a real team player early on. Too bad for him, but it's way too late now.

In his first game with the Allen Wranglers:

3 Rec, 53 yards (which is decent for playing on a 50 yard field), 3 TD catches (the only WR on the team to record any Rec TDs in this game).

Wranglers defeat the Wichita Wild 50-20

I would say now after that he might have a shot to get back into the NFL but if he does it won't be until training camp starts again. And even then he'd get no better than a 1 year deal.

Sounds right. If this were three years ago, I'd expect him to show up as a Redskin. Not under Shanahan, though.

The guy can still perform on the NFL level. I don't think any premier teams would allow him in to disrupt whatever cohesive unit they've built.
