Plus I have had woman message me first and i reply back and 90% of the time i never hear from them again.

Posted: 2/26/2012 6:28:56 AM | The Meet Me functionality can be misleading to newbies because the messages from there are auto generated when your profile is viewed and the person clicks on Yes or Maybe. Most viewers don't understand that and as you need to choose something to move onto the next profile many false impressessions are given.
I currently have 537 men who 'want to meet me'. 3 have actually sent a message. None of them are who I am hoping to find.
As others have said - you MUST get used to doing a thread search with your questions. ALL of the functions of the site are clearly explained and coming to the forums to post a question which 100's of others have result in being instructed to do it anyway.
Go and read about the Meet Me Functionality so you know more then the little bit of information I have provided. Also go and read about response rates, ways to write a good message and anything else you might not be understanding. | |

Love it when someone tries their hardest to make someone else look stupid or think they are being ever so smart by pointing out a grammar issue, then make a horrible spelling mistake themselves.

Posted: 2/26/2012 11:16:25 AM | If you are using the "Meet Me" feature as a barometer for interest, don't. A lot of the messages you get that say someone wants to meet you are from people who clicked "maybe" on their end.
Your best bet is not to think someone wants to meet you unless they actually directly tell you as much. From there, if they don't actually follow through then they either weeded you out based on something you said, or weren't really looking to meet.
It happens a lot here and in real life. Dust yourself off and message the next one. | |
